@cmonneah By no means. The edge on the razor was so sharp that the cut was very fine and clean. When I said it went bad, I was mainly referring to the razor burn, lol. Since then, I have tried again with the straight razor. Shaving with the grain made it much easier.

yes it helps alot, also some tips (which you might already do)

shower before shaving, or get a hot (not boiling) face cloth and rest over your face to soften the hair and open the pores of your skin

shave in the direction of the hair because going against it cause irratation to the hair under the skin and this can cause ingrown hair, and/or can cause the hair growth direction to change

shave slowly, its not a 30second job take your time you can see how slow she is shaving here :) enjoy

If you've got sensitive skin, a straight razor 'll only make ik worse, because the blade is so close to your face. what you got to do: make sure your face is warm (1 minute warm water running over your face) then use a good pre shave oil which you warm in your hand. apply the cream not a gel. and use a mach 3 or simular razor which you clean after each 3-4 strokes with WARM water. after the shave you massage with a nice cooling balm, this also prevents al little razor rash. good luck ;)
