@maxwuzhere2248 I just watched it. What drivel! Amateur dialogue, cheap scares (not all that scary anyway), and awful, wooden acting, especially by Julie Carmen. It TRIES to be a mind fuck, but not very hard. For a good mindfuck movie to work there has to be an element of plausibility, clever twists and good writing. All absent. It is just silly.

there were red lines on each of Cane's books. Sam Neil's character saw them and cut the book following the lines, and saw that they were like puzzle pieces that formed a map.

So it's not like he tore up the covers and just stuck them together and said, "It's a map." That map was indeed already there, split over however many covers there were.
