If an inmate, male or female, is uncooperative and the officers determine that she may possibly pose a danger to herself, they strip her naked. Case closed. Knives can easily be manufactured by cutting off a piece of metal or plastic and sharpening it into a cutting edge or spike. I don't understand why male "correctional" officers can be involved in the degradation, humiliation and abuse of females; and, apparently, female "correctional" officers can (by policy) be inolved in the same for males. Tried to get a hold of the Judge in this case to open the files, no response from them yet.
Also trying to find out WHY the FBI helped cover this up, just got a reply that someone is looking into this, but haven't heard from the investigator yet.
Called Stark County Sheriff's office to ask if they are still having men strip women naked, the sheriff's bitch of a secretary, Carrie, hung up on me....again....

I worked in a jail. This believe it or not is called for sometimes... People who say the slightest suicidal statement are an immediate risk. If they didn't remove her clothing and she hung herself then they were screwed... if they did (as shown) they're still screwed... its a lose lose with the public. People who never worked in a jail should shut the fuck up! There is no taking chances here. Sometimes there are not enough female officers working to handle a raging female so males have to help..

Knives can easily be manufactured by cutting off a piece of metal or plastic and sharpening it into a cutting edge or spike. Such a knife can be wrapped in paper and tape so that its cutting edges are covered, then inserted into a body cavity (usually harmlessly). So these searches are allowed for the safety of inmates and police officers.

@TheSasar12 No her cousin Scott Preston called 911 for her, the car was hers. Her other cousin, Scott's sister Leanne, had attacked Hope because she wouldn't let her drive the car. Scott also tells the cops in the call that his sister was arrested the month before for assault.
Hope Steffey mistakenly gave the cop her dead sister's license, but she was NOT trying to pass her self off as her sister with the PHOTO ID. Even the cop testified to that.

None of the other 5 women were ever interviewed by "investigators" to find a pattern of abuse at the jail.
NO ONE was polygraphed to verify the TRUTH of their statements.
There is a LOT about this case that never made it to the news, like the cops FRAMED the victim!
