Hmmm does it hurt.. ? after the first treatment were u able to go back to workor need to rest a couple of days? i also suffer acne scars worse than you
@nosrej666 The treatment procedure feels like rubber bands snapping the face. Yes, it hurt a little bit. I took 4 days off or work and stayed in the house to heal. Sorry you suffer from acne scars..Try using Retin A cream to help your skin improve... or Tretinion cream .1% will help you..
You inspired me to get laser treatment. I just left doctor's office after having Pearl laser treatment for acne scars. My face is covered in Aquaphor right now! Haha. I am 45 and hope I get tighter lifted skin too! I can already tell the scars are gone! Yippee! Thanks for giving me the courage to do this.
@Nanette0628 Good luck with healing. The scars may not be gone yet, because you are swollen. Just beware that you are swollen and will be swollen for a good two weeks, before the skin is back to normal. Wait about 2 weeks to see the true results. Yet, good luck on healing and results.
Ok so I had 1 treatment of co2 laser treatment about a month ago. I just wanna let you know it didnt hurt at all. Question? Was she cleaning your face>wow they didnt even use numbing cream stuff. They most certainly used it prior to my treatment plus it was only $650.00 half face but I may have to go back 2nd and 3rd time. Not real sure about it yet. I see results already no pain! Mine is also for acne scaring. I will take pictures soon
@TheMrslivewire She used numbing cream on my face..and wiped it off, i did not show that part, but should have looking back on it. I don't know how you did co2 without feeling pain..never heard that before from anyone, but everyone has different pain tolerance. Thanks for sharing
@ClTIZEN actually, I had some small acne scars that I had treated on my cheeks. Not sure how Dawn Penn fits into the scene, but many people under laser to correct facail scars, so my video is informative for those who under such treatments..
@fliptthescript It is hot. I hope you have some great results. Tip, next time take to pain meds 45 minutes before hand. like Darvecet or demeral, this will help big time.
Isn't this supposed to be a steril environment? The "Master" Esthetician is eating a candy bar or something during the filming of this video. She's cleaning her teeth with her tongue betweeen sentences. Gross. She couldn't eat before they filmed this?
@beckaheck yes, this is a steril environment actually.. My neice was filming this for me. All of us were eating something. This was a Saturday afternoon. Everyone came in on their day off for this. The problem is, I filmed this for me and ended up uploading to youTube...Actually, we are all friends..I made the mistake of not representing the Esthetician how really professionally she is....
@Ahhapictures Yes sir, I had pearl done and it was painful! Funny enough I'm getting a second procedure done next week...this time I am taking a vicadin prior to going :D
@madym19 The vicadin will help block the pain..you may need to take 2. but take them about 45 mintues before the procedure..It take that long to get into the system and work...I work in the nursing field....
Where is this place? I work at a spa and this is not how it is done. I have watched this video five times this morning. I was looking for something to show my patients. This is something I would show them as a Bad experience. She tells him Keep it moist thats the name of the game. This is not the real Fraxel either, so this is misrepresenting the name Fraxel. She didn''t even clean his face the proper way. Nothing about this was professional Don't go to her if you want proper protocol.
@fraxelicious This is Fractional laser resurfacing. I thought it was the same as Fraxel. It is a different machine, which makes this procedure called Fractional laser. The method and process of fractional and fraxel are very much the same. Yet, the machines are different.
How unprofessional is she? Chewing gum, didn't explain the procedure before she met the patient, she doesn't even know how long the bleeding will last, she tells him to keep it moist and says you don't have a problem with that right? Very inexperienced. This is not how real FRAXEL works and usually a doctor will do the treatment. Why didn't he leave. Furthermore, the laser should have been tested on him so he could feel it ahead of time. What a ridiculous adventure this was, she is BAD!!
@heyitsuli Do you have the money to see your family Dr. They can prescibe something for your skin..Retin A helps dry up pimples...A DR will prescribe this for you. See a DR before it gets worse and they can assist you.
Thanks for taking the time to share your video. I'm learning about which type of Fractional is best. I did see the areas of your concern on your cheeks. How happy are you with the results ? I mean does the small scars look much better then before? What percentage would you give the improvement ? This was a Erbium fractional correct ? Good luck improving your skin. Jamis
@JamisRay I'm happy with the results, this was my first time, but now I have done it 4 times now and it really improves about 25% each time. The scars look much better, very soft and very small now...great procedure
@Ahhapictures Hi, I hope you don't mind me asking.. don't mean to cause any offense.. but have you had other plastic surgery treatments face wise.. or botox perhaps?
@ravi48819 we did use numbing cream, but it was not that great of numbing cream...The lady performing the laser ended up buying better numbing cream...
@jojothedog1234 yes, I'm a guy and this is painful...I don't need to act tough and pretend it does not hurt. I'm not into the alpha male syndrome....It is hurts, then it hurts...
i was going to do laser resurfacing treatment but i got scared so i opted to do Chemical Peeling and rotating that every 3 weeks with Microdermabration for the next 6 months. I'm also having 6 Laser Photo Rejuvenation done in between. Hopefully I can get the results I'm after. Thank you for uploading your experiences with us.
No, I'm doing AHA peels the milder form. I'm starting with 3 of those along with 3 microderms. I want to see how it works on my face and continue onwards if I see some success.
wow thats kinda cheap compared to ohio. I would have to pay 1,000 dollars for a co2 laser one session. I think it would be worth it for sure but i have to gather the cash first. I wish it was 600 dollars
NO is it not fraxel, but it is the same procedure Fractional laser only difference is the machine is not called fraxel..the removal the the skin is the exact same as fraxel, dame depth, same fractional lasers dots and same heat also giving the same results.
This treatment was 1,500 for 3 sessions...After the 4 additional session, my scars are 100% gone..Very nice treatment...worth the pain and effort and money..great for scars and tightening the skin too.
Thanks for the comment..I'm not sure what the selective obsession people have about sexual preferences and being related to comestic surgery..Very strange and I feel it is more of jealousy
She is chewing a snack bar which I gave her to eat.. It's ok, it was on a Saturday, her day off and I was getting this laser free..So, it is not what she does on her job...
The pain is tolerable..You need to have some pain meds prescribed and in your systm 45 minutes before the procedure..2 darvecets help well...This should help out a lot..I was not on pain meds in the video, but my second treatment I took 2 prescribed darvecets and this helped out a whole lot...feels like rubber bands snappoing on the skin...
Co2 is a good laser and should bring you some nice results and improvements..If you do fractional laser co2, you may need 2 -3 sessions...Yet, see what kind of results you get with one session first..everyone is different how they respond..
You are a fucking idiot. I'm a man and I've had this done before. Why would someone have to be gay to have this done? And if he is, so the fuck what, you fucking MORON and get a life.
Thanks for this comment..Wow, people can be so destructive with their comments. Just needing to find something to pick on..when the video is about laser and cosmetic procedures..
It feels like rubber bands snapping on the skin. it does not hurt that bad, but I was not prepared to feel anything, so I was surprised to feel any pain, but it is tolerable.
I had this done about two years ago, costed me $3900 for 6 treatments. Not to sound like a wimp or anything, but I felt it was one of the most painful experience I've ever had to endure. I even had a cool air blow dryer and it still hurt. I don't regret it though, I'm loving my results/
That's not FRAXEL, it's a different technology called PALOMAR STAR LUX, but it's not FRAXEL. Real FRAXEL uses a scanning mechanism to deliver the laser light to the skin, it's very esay to apply and does'nt hurt at all during treatment, because your skin is treated with a numbing cream 45 minutes before the treatment; also a jet stream of cool air is directed to the treatment area, looking for reducing the sensation. THAT IS NOT FRAXEL, BEWARE...!
omg!! they didnt apply a numbing cream before hand? ive just had my last fraxel treatment today, (number 5! omg) with all of the treatments i had numbing cream and nitros oxide ( laughing gas), why do we do these thing to ourselves!
She did numb me with topical cream. I cut the part out, to shorten my video. I'm having the laser, again, tomorrow, on the April 28th. It will be erbium fractional again. I'm filming it again.. So check back, in few weeks. I also, filmed my sister, who did this. I plan to edited and upload to YouTube in a week or so. Thanks for sharing your story.
Well, keep in mind that Hans was 40 years old when he shot this footage. The guy looks more than a decade younger, which is a great testament for how effective plastic surgery can be.
thanks for sharing your experience. It would have been great if we could have seen close up & clearly what you were having treated. I am a licensed esthetician and I couldn't tell what you were trying to treat. Could you share that?
I had a few minor cheek scars, on both cheeks as well as, I had some scars, from having a mini upper and lower face lift. So, we were going over those areas. When I do this treatment again, which is Erbium fractional, some what like Fraxel, but it is Erbium, which I learned, after this video. It still is a fractionated laser, where it removes area in pin points., but leaves some good skin, in between the pin point laser. Anyhow, I'll show a closer up view, when I do the next treatment.
This lady is just chomping on her gum like it's nothing...how unprofessional...chomp chomp smack.."we're gonna..smack..focus on..chomp chomp..your whole face...smackety smack..". Seriously gross:-(
Well, she is a friend of mine and yes, she was eating, but we did this on her lunch break. She does not chomp chomp, when she is with her clients. It does kind of look pretty bad her chomping.
@Ahhapictures I watched this video for the first time today. I actually watched it six times in total to listen to her explanation of what she was going to do. You are not doing her any favors by posting this. She is very unprofessional sounding and chewing. The laser you had is not the same as Fraxel, so you should not be telling people it is. You would not have been that uncomfortable and numbing is for a full hour prior. Nice of you to share but please don't say its the same as Fraxel,
@lady5688 LMFAO I know right i was laughing at her then when i saw your message i just kept on laughing. What kind of professional laser technician does that?
wait this is not the fraxel! it is a fractional laser. this looks like it hurts like hell. I had fraxel done and it doesnt hurt that bad plus they put a blue tint 1st.
Fraxel is a name brand by RELIANT. Not Palomar. They are refering to "fractionated laser treatment". These other "slang" uses of the machine are trying to use the reputation built by Reliant Technology from the original Fraxel laser. Do not be fooled by the imitations. Yes, Fraxel does sting, even "hurt" but it does wonders, just make sure you have the REAL laser that is approved by the FDA for acne scarring.I have done hundreds of fraxel treatments.THEY WORK IF USED ON THE RIGHT CONDITIONS
Palomar..this is the old machine. Not approved by FDA for acne scars..Make sure your doctor is using the latest fraxel machine before performing the procedure.
I really want to get this done.... how much did this cost? I don't think I'll mind the pain. I mean, I've spent ten years and thousands of bucks on milder stuff that didn't work at all, including IPL which hurt too. I still have the scars. :( I really want to know what the long term results are too.
This procedure cost $ 600.00, which is a great price. The long term results are tighter skin and improved collegen growth.
I plan to do this procedure again, but now, I will do 3 passes of the laser, at a lower heat and depth..
In this video, my laser was at a 9, which is very hot and deeper. Since then, I have watched her laser people at level 5 for the first pass, lever 6 for the second pass and level 7 for the third. The pain is much more tolerable, at this level.
@lcd1023 No this is not an honest video of fraxel laser! This laser is not a true FRAXEL. I work at a spa and know the difference. A doctor performs a true fraxel procedure, not a chewing so called "Master Esthetician"
I think it's not Fraxel.. its IPL.....

It feels like a rubber band slapping you. Although when i did it we didn't use any numbing agents.

Your face looks over done: too small nose, surprise eyes, tigh skin...you are handsome still but stop doing stuff to your face

Well, keep in mind that Hans was 40 years old when he shot this footage. The guy looks more than a decade younger, which is a great testament for how effective plastic surgery can be.
Hope I look that good when I'm his age lol

thanks for sharing your experience.

:( I really want to know what the long term results are too.
pookoos 3 years ago
This procedure cost $ 600.00, which is a great price. The long term results are tighter skin and improved collegen growth.
I plan to do this procedure again, but now, I will do 3 passes of the laser, at a lower heat and depth..
In this video, my laser was at a 9, which is very hot and deeper. Since then, I have watched her laser people at level 5 for the first pass, lever 6 for the second pass and level 7 for the third. The pain is much more tolerable, at this level.

Any before and after pics of pitting and scarring improvement? By the way, on the video your skin looks like a supermodel's to start off with. :)

Finally and honest video on fraxel. It HURTS!
lcd1023 3 years ago
@lcd1023 No this is not an honest video of fraxel laser! This laser is not a true FRAXEL. I work at a spa and know the difference. A doctor performs a true fraxel procedure, not a chewing so called "Master Esthetician"
