  • ...surfdom, then it evolved into wage labor and now we gave debt slavery. These are all forms of coerced servitude with the only difference being the level of human energy input is required for the economy to function. The next dorm of slavery will emancipate the human race because we will eventually use sustainable technology and advanced automation to so everything for us. By reducing our consumption while increasing our productivity we reduce and eventually eliminate human exploitation.

  • Phaedron 777, advanced civilizations did rely on slavery to build their infrastructure because they started from scratch. The enlightened ones you speak of were hunter gatherers bands, tribes, chiefdoms, horticulturalist or pasturalist. Groups of these sizes did not need large scale infrastructure to meet the demand of a large population like agrarian societies (empires). As the latter society progressed the need for human labor decreased and the methods for resource distrubution evolved into...

  • When a world is young the energy is masculine, expansive, an outward breath, but now it is an inward breath, ingoing and miraculously scientific, moreover it is a feminine age because having a so called perfect world government system in place effectively destroys the masculine ability to have any true power completely. Henceforth women did not gain rights, in reality we have all become women.

  • Dominating one another was the only means to have a society? please... there were enlightened peoples who lived in small groups, shared alike, and loved one another, but the empires always kill or enslave them, and the emperors have always worshipped satan and pagan deities. Do you think that has changed? Mankind makes technological progress, but in no case have we done something about the evil. Because of the bad apples people will ultimnately lose all rights, be complete slaves to the system

  • Wow. Great job presenting you're interesting views!

  • The South Korean's are "drafting laws to protect the rights of robots and future intelligences." We can barley protect the rights of the human population that currently exists. I'd like to see what these laws say.

  • I don't know what these laws say, only that they are being drafted. However, the act of drafing them -- of wishing to protect artificial intelligence when as you say we don't protect people that well -- I still find significant.
