My thoughts and prayers have been with your family for the past year... your uncle Steven has musically been a big part of my life for the past 15 years. My mom passed away a couple months ago... and I too hold on to the hope that Christ brings.

Hi Canaan. I am so deeply sorry for your loss! I wish I could have known Maria, because she acted like a ray of sunshine in your uncles videos. I'm sure she was a ray of sunshine to your family. I recently went through a loss myself. My dad passed away on May 3rd, 2008. Your uncle's music has been helping me to heal. I was so heartbroken for your family, when I heard the news. Caleb is right about the way God healed Maria, & how He will heal Will. I continue to pray for your family!

Hey Canaan...I am so sorry about your loss. I was actually able to go to the funeral. It was the saddest, most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. I have been following your uncle's music ever since he started. He wrote a song that he never recorded called "He Delivers" that I absolutely loved as a teenager. A group called The MidSouth Boys had it out. That was the first time I ever heard of him.I hope the family is doing better and know that your whole family is being prayed for nationwide.

Give Will my best. We can't do anything more for Maria, but we can for Will. As was apparently said at the memorial, God healed Maria in a way nobody liked, but He will heal Will in a way everyone will like. Amen! My thoughts and prayers for all of you, and a double-dose for Will. Time may not heal all wounds, but it does relieve some of the pain. And that's where God's joy flourishes. Time...
