First, y put the vodka in the watermelon? The second u cut the melon u'll lose some of the vodka (good vodka ain't cheap)

Second, if u mash the watermelon to get rid of the juice, u didn't do a good job. At the end the vodka was a heavy pink color, showing that a lot of the juice was still in the watermelon pieces.

@50ysauce Yeah, but it wouldn't be water melon vodka, it would be a mixed drink. I think the goal was to give the vodka a watermelon flavor and aroma without the added juices that would take away from the straight vodka taste and alchohol content.

@justoian Sounds good. I want to do this with some berries and make my own version of Ciroc red berry. Even thought if you're an alchohol enthusiast, Ciroc is not considered a real vodka because it's made from grapes instead of grains or potatoes.

@weaslefeets there's a place called "WMF"... they have really good stuff... still you could find cheaper products in Ikea or large department stores... I don't know where you are... maybe America where I don't quite know where they sell these... but here in Europe they have quite a few places... if you have a "Butlers" branch near you, they sell good mixing products and glassware/bottles
