Amazing video.My father N S Parish was a Navigator in Avenger JZ472 flown by S/L Buchanan and P.D Cooper which dropped bombs on the Black Watch on May4th 1945.I also believe they sank a U Boat. They flew from HMS Queen I think and were in the air for 1hr35mins I still have photographs of the raid.
i grew up in kilbotn and it is in harstad (on hinnøya), not in lofoten
