Tea party got demagogued by the Mainstream left and OWS got demagogued by the mainstream right. The two groups need to come together with a solid message against corporate socialism. Everyone should be against that
sadly free markets were killed off in america a long time ago... the US is now as corporatist/socialist/communist as europe pretty much, unless things change soon were all screwed. we need to realize governments & their banking/corporate friends have caused all these problems, governments are a monopoly on the legal use of force when will we learn that we do not need governments!
@bohemianwriter1 totally agree im just pointing out that america is certainly not capitalist any more, same as EU, EU is more socialist, usa is more corporatist (fascist) but in both cases the government have taken control of the economy.. in america the corporations offset losses onto the public but keep profits plus they keep going to war, in EU the state just keeps most of the taxes but hands out a lot more to the poor... both systems are totally FUBAR though, free markets have been wiped out
I'll tell you in simple words what a free market actually means. It means that the farmer can go to the market to sell of his goods. Either to get a cow, or money for it. Money is nothing but a documentation that you have enough resources to pay for the grain, or the potatoes, or the slaughtered horse.
Getting money back for those goods doesn't have any value in itself. Only things that money can buy has a true value. Gold, paper money or bronze coins feeds no one....
@bohemianwriter1 sure i agree, which is why im saying we dont have free markets any more, if you have something like the government & fed reserve monopolising the creation & control of money, you dont have a free market.. not to mention all the govt licensing/regulations/subsidies etc... i agree on money too, its simply a means of retaining value, which is ultimately always used for services/resources but gold/silver cant be printed like fiat currency & have uses & therefore inherent value.
Cut off funding to school and education, we get war. Cut off funding to health care, we get war. Cut off funding to public service that help people, we get war. Ect, ect. They keep on say that we don't have the money, but have the money to go to war with other country. Man oh man, is there some wrong with this picture or what.
@sjbarul Hi, I don't think ending the Fed necessarily ends the dollar. There could possibly a return to the United States Note, Silver, and Gold Certificates. The case for the United States Note is that the Treasury would print it, and the " middle man " of the federal reserve banking cartel, and their fractional currency system, that charges interest on their currency would be phased out, along with their choking expense. The Citizens of the States do not need the parasitic federal reserve.
@peepeevagi,I agree with you because as an American, I find the majority of the American people as retards by watching and follow shows like Dancing with the Stars,American Idol, the Kardashian sluts and those Jersey Shore dickheads. I guess the American people hasn't protested since 1968,so we've forgotten how to protest way you foreigners protest. At least they're trying.
@peepeevagi,You're right. The thing is that the US Government is purposely smokescreen the American people with reality shows so the people could be stupid and not aware on what's going on. That's these demonstrations in LA or Washington,DC weren't televised on American mainstream media for that reason. I like your comments peepeevagi. The American people should demonstrate European and Middle Eastern style.
Why gave FOX full media coverage to moronic teabaggers, while the onbly coverage they would ever give to legitimate protest, they are hostile to say it least?
@peepeevagi No offense but that is the most stupid thing I heard today, what if you and your family go homeless and hungry because of govt economic policies and then you cant protest about it because you gave that right away?
Its like saying to someone that robs you with a knife "here take my gun, just let me keep my money"..... Fuck that!
How would these "Government economic policies" cause my family to go homeless and hungry? Protesting the day away and getting fired for missing work would cause it sooner than some political nonsense.
@peepeevagi Policies that would allow further outsourcing of american jobs to Asian countries. Policies that would tax the middle class and not the upper class. Policies that would allow a private banks to take and devalue your home. Policies that would force taxpayers like you to bail out corrupt banks and corporations. Less regulation has been the dominating policy in D.C. this "policy" has left families hungry and living in tent cities across the USA.
Tent cities across the nation? That's a huuuuuuge stretch. There's a few places here and there but there's still a whole lot of us that aren't in that situation. And they're virtually nonexistant here in the west (Excluding california, those are hippie tent cities lol).
And none of these policies you speak of exist. And even if they did, it'd just mean i'd have to work harder. And no matter how bad it would get, it would never even come close to working in asian and middle eastern countries.
@peepeevagi Those policies do exist for example, now corporations & banks are now able to buy politicians to pass laws that favor them (citizens united ruling).
Federal policies that tax the middle class & poor, but give tax breaks to the richest are a reality.
If U dispute that, U are either a conservative in deep denial or just greatly misinformed.
True, tent cities are not that widespread(yet) but 4 how long?
There is plenty of evidence to back my claims, I'd be happy to share it if want it.
People's votes can be bought out. That's a part of life. Heck, if i got paid to vote one way, i'd do it >.>
And the rich have their own set of taxes. It's not like they go ENTIRELY untaxed. It's not fair or as much on the middle class, but still.
As for tent cities being everywhere, it'll never happen. Some places are better off than others, period. And the only way they could really spread is if there was revolt on a massive scale (Effectively putting everyone out of a job).
@peepeevagi Bank of America and GE paid NO federal income taxes for 2010. Thats a fact.
Wikileaks revealed the names of over 2,000 individuals, corporations and financial institutions who have used the Cayman Islands as a venue to avoid paying taxes.
This politico and economic system is a plutocracy.
The LAST thing you want to do is give away your constitutional right that allows you the freedom to assembly(freedom to protest), just because you're afraid of going hungry or homeless. WAKE UP!!
So they skipped on their taxes by exploiting an island? Clever. And if the future looks so bleak, the government wont have any choice but to tax them even harder, for the middle class is allready overtaxed ( To the point that they're losing tax profits).
I dont need freedoms as much as i need a roof over my families heads and food to feed them with. If that meant becoming Hitler's lapdog, moving to china, or completely taking it in the rear, then so be it. Family comes before country.
@peepeevagi I also love my family & because I love them I am willing to take to the streets if it means a better way of life for them. That is why it is essential that we must no give up anymore of our freedoms to those who clearly don't give a fuck about me, U or yur family.
What good is having a roof over yur head & food for U & yur family when the govt can decide & allow others to take it away & tell you to shut up & dont protest because its illegal to do so?
He would be glad to know that his last tax dollars went to tax cuts for the Koch brothers. When he dies of hunger, he will be glad that he died in an America that would still deny him food, shelter, and basic HC. Because in his eyes, that would be Marxist Socialism...

If America was even close to Socialist, you would have Public Healthcare a long time time ago.
Corporatism is the exact oposite of Socialism.
Though Corporate Welfare seems to be quite popular amongst the uneducated morons in the Teaparty...

Indeed, we have socialism its only inverted to favor the leeches that are the banks and corporations.
Leeches and parasites that live of the poor and the middle class.
This is no surprise.

The corporations will rip the USA apart before they give up what they have.
Americans will have to pry it from their cold dead hands.
Some people in America realize this most do not!
They care more about the latest I-pad or whats going on with charlie sheen!
Most are smokescreened!
