  • The administration in Eritrea has an amazing ideology of pan africanism and self reliance, they are committed to developing the country for its people despite the growing threats from financial institutions and foreign governments. Now they are being sanctioned for supporting terrorists in somalia despite the fact that all the reports and evidence prove this claim to be false and they are too poor to fund some foreign somali cause

  • I wish Somali people also work hard like other horn African people.

  • Greetings to all those who care for mother earth,we intend to do such a project but on a tiny scale in Egypt's red sea shore,we hope we will continue to receive such priceless advice.

  • The West Wing!!! thumbs up!

  • eritrea is the poorest nation on earth, with more refugees in sudan, Ethiopia and every where in the world.

  • Totally INSPIRATIONAL!!! = )

  • This is a nation bombed to stone age, wantonly destroyed in endless wars & 50 years of the UN & the US infermented international conspiracy.

And yet, this nation keeps charting & building it's own destiny with nothing more that it's DARING WILL POWER.

Eritrea remains the living proof of human endeavour, insuring life, liberty & the pursuite of happiness, by it's own meanse ONLY!!!

Never did so much has been achieved by few people in history of mankind.

    WAY TO GO ERITREA!!!

  • Whats the matter with this porject? On Googlemaps I can see just desert. Is the project failed?

    See here: 15.663561,39.44983

  • @crearto probbaly the GFC and the salt got them in the end.

  • @crearto

Google map an instrument to direct locations & not an instrument to verify economic endeavours.

Why NOT visit Eritrea to see, Eritrea's endeavour to internal destiny, self-relliance.

  • great idea, thanks a million to whoever uploaded this video. I was wondering, how much did this one project cost? I'm guessing its between $1-10 million! please can you let me know if you have the info...thanks!

  • Great video, lots to learn from this process!

  • ILLUSIVE MAN!!!!!

  • we need to do this in america. The Growhaus in denver is such a great orginization they are really bringing it home

  • 2:11 is so cute...he looks like ronaldo haha

  • You have a little girl at the begining of this with a pot belly. I heard somewhere that pot bellies are due to lack of protien. If the main diet is millet the children might be eating but not getting enough protein once weaned. Apart from increasing the meat in their diet there is a vegetarian way of getting all the necessary amino acids, eating pulses, beans, lentils and such as wells as grains, in India lentils and rice, the amino acids grains lack pulses have and vice a versa. rose macaskie

  • as far as I know Eritrea's climate is adecuate for growing moringa

  • This technique was established by Dr. Sato, a Japanese American who invested his time to help this small nation achieve the level of self-sustaining income generating project in the Hirgigo Massawa area. I am glad Dr. Hodges has taken the project up one more notch.

  • Thats good a role model for the rest of Africa.

  • this country will spring up so far high it will mistify the countries around it.

  • wtf i typed in "the thin red line movie" and this came out first....why?

  • Maybe because eritrea is a thin country on the line/coast of the red sea?

  • why cant we make these ourselves, we'll go nowhere with these foreigners running these things.

  • of course you can but people need to be educated first, then they can in turn educate more people.

  • Give them the seed and they will grow beautifu trees

  • I wish more people would work in such a positive

way to increase the sitution of the suffering people of this world

  • Good project

  • they used to say that ERITREA is the BRIDE OF AFRICA and THE ITALY OF AFRICA.

u pppl aint know how much do i love ERITREA.

  • ppl, JUST WONDERIN OF SOMETHIN, ERHIOPIA HAD GOT INDEPENDENCE 1OO YEARS, AND NEVER ACCOMPLISH AS WE DID, IN JUST 16 YEARS ERITREA BECAME MARVELLOUS COUNTRY. IM I WRONG. ANYWAYS I DIDNT MEAN TO HURT ANY ETHIO PPL, BUT THAT IS THE FACT. BLESSED ERI AND ERI PPL. MUAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH .MISS U

  • what an unnecessary thing to say, what good will come out of that statement?

  • Thanx for posting, Eritrea always moving forward!!!

  • how can plants grow in a sea water? I thought salt would prevent growing.

  • it gets filtered as it goes through the lands and the shrip places before it reaches to the agricultural places and then it goes back to the sea

  • This is great.

  • i'm so proud of this country on of the youngest countries in the world and already making a change in the enviorment.

  • awsome :) hope its not poluting..time will tell

  • I don't think there is any pollutant in the sea water they are using. The water is just right from red sea and it is not processed so I fail to see how it is going to pollute the environment.

  • unbelievable... proud to be from eritrea

  • good program, it use to be what Eritrea can do for me, but now is how can I help Eritrea.
