Knowledge is power! You have to know bending principles to use any tool. The best and easiest to understand workbook which can be used by anyone to become an accomplished conduit, tube or pipe bender can be found on a youtube website at /t04041951
Does anyone know if this is the type of bender you would need to build for example: Custom Grill/Brush guards, Roll Bars and even smaller things such as Light Guards?
I notice some pipe benders kink the tubing. I am interested in bending pipes but also maintaining the cylindrical shape.
@13098519 The Model 32 is exactly what you need. As long as you use material at or above the minimum wall thickness for the material OD and radius you will be bending on, you will have smooth, uniform bends. Check out our website for more details. tricktools . com
@diesel010 Yes there are 2-1/2" dies available. But you will need to use material with enough wall thickness to support itself. (i.e. you can't bend 2-1/2" stainless exhaust tubing with this bender)
These guys are the BEST! My bender came without 2 spacers total accident. They were HAPPY to help and wanted to make sure I was pleased as a customer, I AM!!!!! If any of you are on the fence or unfamiliar with this company, please do YOURSELF a favor and CALL them, they will BEND-over backward to help you the customer. The parts were sent quickly and I am a LOYAL outspoken customer, Very Happy!
@argyll1984 Larger Center Line Radius dies are physically larger, requiring more material and machining time. CLR needs to be primarily chosen based on the wall thickness of the material you wish to bend. Please feel free to call us at 877-826-7268 with any further questions.
Ok, I can increase the radius to 4.5" but the stainless steel pipe will be 1 1/12" OD with 1/8" wall thickness and if you mean polished ! my pipe is not polished.
If the tool will help in my fabrication then kindly inform me about the price for my requirement.
@Hardan1001 Unfortunately the smallest radius available for 1-1/2" OD material is 4.5". The stainless material would be no problem. For bending poished stainless I'd reccomend delrin inserts for the follow bar.
I have one. Works great but. I don't like the magnetic degree pointer. I welded pointers to each die. No support for the follow bar to align them with the die. I use cut pieces of tube. Had to do some shimming to get it to return all the way without having to lift the arm every time . Trick tools is a great place to buy tools. Customer support is to notch. Very important to me.

Great work! Could you please tell me, what is the advantage of this bender, as compared to a a hydraulic press bender? Thanks!
lobzdik 1 month ago
@lobzdik A hydraulic press or ram bender is fast, but usually results in very poor bend quality.

what size and type of pipe is used in this video? how difficult is it to push?
cubbearky 1 year ago
@cubbearky 1-1/2" OD .075" mild steel. It really isn't very difficult at all. We have many customers that bend 1-3/4" .120" wall DOM tubing manually.
