Prozac, lithium, oxy etc.. are drugs that serve only to put you into a stupor, to numb you, to limit your range, limit your life experience. Acid, if it has only thing going for it, offers completely new and rhapsodic context.

I'm not saying everyone needs to use, or try, or want to try, acid. But our drug laws are oppressive, and most legal drugs are by the nature of their actions oppressive as well, mostly in light of the fact that many 'users' have no underlying disorder to be treated.

Has anyone heard the drug-version of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' or 'Your Friendly Neighborhood Narco Agent'? I used to hear them on 'Doctor Demento' in L.A. I've never been drunk or high in my life...but sometimes I am very tempted. How about making drugs a completely medical issue...and not a criminal issue...unless other laws are broken? Get a prescription for pot, and buy it in a pharmacy...instead of from Pedro. You can get LSD from the CIA! They need the money for Black Opps and Aliens!

I wrote a paper on lsd. Its very interesting actually. Its impossible to OD on lsd, its your actions that determine whether or not you survive the trip. Weak minded individuals need not apply. But I did have some buddies spend a year in jail cuz one of them had an athsma attack and suffocated on acid, then the rest of them dumped his body in the desert in el paso, tx. Yeap.

im pretty sure your wrong...I had a friend who sold acid who had a girlfriend who was an acid fiend...he poured about a pint of acid into her hands and said "If you let one drop spill im cutting you off...forever" so she sat there for a good 20 minutes soaking it all in and ended up going into a 3 month coma...she came out of it but was fucked up for the rest of her life...thats not some bullshit story.

My personal opinion, if it doesnt kill you then you didnt OD. You could puke a lot and almost die but I consider that more of a bad trip. But I'd see how you could feel a bad trip would be a minor overdose.

And I respect your opinion. When the drug is prescribed, I think its easier to qualify an overdose; that is, its easier to differentiate between an adverse reaction (i.e. bad trip) and an overdose (taken too much). Perhaps one could go into a coma when taking a normal dosage, but the likelihood of this is greatly increased by taking a larger amount.

@eleusis66 you do know that LSD is a recreational drug that allows you to explore frontiers within your mind and surroundings. As for xanax, this is to decrease anxiety or panic attacks, and can be used to actually stop a bad trip while on LSD since it mellows you out considerably. Those that take xanax for medical purposes don't have a choice, LSD people do. As for Prozac, I am not a big fan of anti-depressants but some people need them to live a better life. For one day though...take LSD!
