I love mine, never had a single feeding issue or a jam.
Carry it too, the safety latch it a little awkward but I like how it's along the side of the frame rather than sticking out like on the Beretta. Makes carrying a little more comfortable on the hips.
I have a Titan .25, got it when my uncle kicked the bucket. I had feeding problems, and noticed some knarly machine marks on ramp. I polished the ramp with some jewelers tools. Ran 100 round though it with not one problem.
people say these guns are useless but thats not true. when i was in high school a cop came to our school and he said its every painful if you get shot in the chest or stomach with a 25 because the bullets move around inside you and fuck up your organs. they only jam when people don't clean them. people buy these guns and waste the bullets on random crap then wonder why it jam's. its not a gun for target practice, it was made to protect yourself.
I like little mouse guns like these, but GET IT IN .22LR. The .25 ACP is as expensive as a box of .45, and the .22LR is not just 1/10 the cost, but is slightly more powerful. There is no earthly reason for the .25 cartridge to exist.
i have had 4 of these.payed about $50-$75 each AND THEY REALLLY SUCK.i was just trying to find one that would function and kept buying and reselling them.never did find one that would function correctly so i gave up.the reason i kept buying em was cuz i liked the hammer instead of a striker fired .25 and they didnt cost a lot.i always got my money back out of em at the gun shows i attend.i just went ahead and got the beretta 950bs
I bought a taurus pt-25 awhile back thinking the same thing lol but after I shot it I definitely grew a liking to it. Out of all ny guns it seems to get the most attention too
I heave fucked up a lot of wild domestic dogs with this gun! The last one I shot, killed my chauhauha! I shot all 6 shots of 25 acp expanded point ammo in his ass! It sounded like a cap gun! I found this cyeote laying one block away bleeding out of his ass, but still living, hen I busted one of my silvertip hollow point from my 45 in his head!
Notice when the slide is closed it sounds like a "real" gun. The sound of the Raven slide cycling has been compared to a "Bic lighter". As for the price of ammo-thank president wetback (Obama) for that one.
@faffaflunkie You are an idiot. .25 ammo is expensive because people rarely use it dumbass. It cost more than 9mm ammo even though it is much smaller bullet. I have even seen it for about $18 for a box of 50 when .40 ammo was only a dollar more. I never heard Obama say "Lets make ammo for .25s more expensive than much larger ammo..."
I love mine ... named it "Squeezie". I just sanded, stained and polyurethaned the grips. I did have a problem however. The mushroom on the guide rod became shorter over a period of much usage. You can feel a small lip forming on the insert side which allowed the slide to be removed without the safetly engaged. I lightly rolled it on a steel surface hammering the rim down gently and uniformly. Now it works fine and I can no longer remove the slide in fire mode.
It has a hammer safety. Chamber. Hold hammer while squeezing trigger. Depress trigger. While lowering hammer Hammer will stop a little less than a quarter inch from the pin. The trigger is immobilized. Needing only to cock hammer and fire.
Some banter here about prices. These sold originally for about $50, prices gradually increased with inflation to around $100 by the time the company folded. They commonly bring $100-$175 on gun auction sites, if they're in decent shape...
Built and imported through 1968 by Fratelli Tanfoglio S.N.C. of Italy. From 1968, it was imported only as a parts kit, assembled and sold by F.I.E. of Miami, FL. Tanfoglio's design was an almost exact copy of the Astra Cub/Colt Junior manufactured in Spain. EXCELLENT design, but relatively the poor material (cast zinc pot metal) in the frame kept it from being as durable as it should have been. Still, I'd love to have another one...
Becareful with those brother. I had a Titan .25 and it was a nice little pocket pistol , only problem with it was that they self-destruct after about 500rds. They are ment to be carried alot but not actually shot alot. Eventually everything gets loose and banged up in side of them, youll eventually be able to fire it with the saftey still on and pins start coming out of places as well.

Also, FIE imported a Tanfolio made copy of one of the old Colt .25 ACP designs under the name "The Best" It's even more difficult to find info on it, and I'd love to get my hands on one.
I own one of these as well, great little pistol for the cash. Like someone mentioned earlier, this is a Tanfolio GT27 with a different name. The parts were made in Italy, and then shipped and assembled in Florida by FIE. Quality is very high vs most other "Saturday Night Special" pistols, and mine goes bang every time. From what I've gathered, the lack of information on the web is because they are a lot more reliable than the Lorcins or Brycos, so there's a lot less bitching about them.
My parents had a little .25 "Titan" (funny name LOL)....worked fine, but one thing happened that I want to let you know...there is a little pin which holds in the firing pin, set 90^ to the line of fire. In our pistol, that little pin was able to work itself loose, then fell out during firing. This caused the firing pin to eject forcefully, just missing my eye. Make sure that retaining pin is peened into place!
Just picked up a similar gun- imported from Italy. Google search Tanfoglio GT 27. Its an identical gun, different name. Brought to US under Excam name
made by FIE (Florida Import Export), which went out of business in 1990. they were known for their inferior quality firearms, however i too own this titan .25, and so far it's been a great plinker. not sure if i'd trust it for self defense though :p
I have one that my grand father owned, there isn't realy much to know about the gun, it is a cheaply made. I know they stopped making them. It is hard to find any information on them, because they are not a very common gun, I personally wouldn't buy this gun at all, there are soo many better options now a days. I hope you didn't pay any more than 75 bucks for the gun, mine is beat up and only worth about 15-20 bucks, cost more for two boxes of ammo than the gun is worth. =)
I have one, but in solid black. My uncle bought it new in the early 80s. It was about $75 bucks. He used it as a pocket defense pistol, cause he worked in a shady neighborhood. I remember they were always considered good .25s, very reliable, unlike many other cheap .25s at the time, like Lorcin or Boa types.
I like the exposed hammer and saftey.
FIE seemed to borrow some from Berettas style. Ive shot 100s of rounds through mine. Not one prob. That is rare! $15 bucks for 50rounds though.
I was going to mention that there used to be an aftermarket 7 shot mag available for them. My uncle got one to go with his. To me, it isn't that big of a deal to have 7 vs. the factory 6, but I with one "in the barrel", that'd give you 8 rounds all together. 8 is enough.
The .25 used to be popular , but lost out to micro .32/.380s.
I would hate to stand in front of one at 5 feet.
I currently keep mine on top of the medicine cabinet. Never know where you'll be sitting when trouble comes!
its a baby beratta...awesome and well made weapons.....

i know they sre tricky with ammo.i have one and use cci.evrything else jams up.
25s are notorius for jamming up anyways.if you can get it to shoot without jamming they are pretty decent

Need to be careful with it. Doesn't have a firing pin block. You drop it, it can go off. Then again, you get what you pay for.

Ammoclip.com has magazines for this pistol in the "Excam" section. Same gun, different company or at least different name of same company...
