I went there for Power Pro school (Civil Engineering) 8/96-10/96. We got bussed to class, lunch, and back from class. Pretty sure every other class on base had to march.

When I was there in February 1990 it was the 3763rd for Crew Chiefs. Every weekend we got out of wichita falls and headed for Dallas. I remember I got counseled for talking about taxes ,while being interviewed by local tv at the mall in my blues LOL.

Glad I never had to be a crossing guard. Nice new buildings! Was there June to Nov96. It was pretty gay but my room was in 1C West in what ever building iswas across from PDA park. it had a doorway halfway down the hall that never had room inspections. So many people at the squadron, it was easy to avoid morning pt. I hated it there.

I was there in Sept 07 - Mar 08, 364th E&E. Most miserable place on earth. Wichita Falls is such a shit hole. Went from there to Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. Talk about a huge step up.

I was there in Sept-Dec 1979 for the Airplane Mechanic General course. That place sucked! I stayed in for 24 years too and retired as OIF kicked off. I was at Sheppard Nov 4th 1979 when the Embassy Hostage crisis started---all the Iranians in UPT left the base the following day! They just dissapeared! Beats me! I remember marching in the morning to classes. We had both military and civilian instructors. Looks like not much has changed there.
