@ihp0ts, as a long time fan of Pinoy rock, I never liked Rico Blanco. Tanging habol ko talaga is yung mga kantang nakakainspire sa marami mapa-astig man o mellow just like what you've mentioned on your post.

Although pahirapan na ang lagay ng OPM sa ngayon, tuloy pa rin ako sa pagsuporta kina Bamboo and other veteran Pinoy bands of the 90s. Malaki ang naitulong nila sa music industry natin kahit papaano. Long live OPM to all.

Galing. Simple lang bumanat si Bamboo, pero ang lupet naman. Wapak talaga. Compared to Rico's songs na gumagamit pa ng ambitious Orchestra. Pero yung mismong soul ng kanta ni Rico, wala, di mo marining. Very contrived.

Hijo has better things to do than disliking videos. Great vox as always but the song itself is weak. Beside the fact that it's poorly mixed, the lyrics, the instrumentation and the arrangment are lacking. Hmmm. It sure is nice to hear the voice again. :) Hope it gets better.

@gin321654 well, lets not ;go into any concluision, dahil you don't know kung anu pinagdadaanan ng bawat members sa band, kaya nadidisband... malay mo nadisband sila dahil for some reasons like, family, education or ibang career na tlganag gusto nila.. so it doesnt matter kung disband, buo or wala na ung ibang members nung band, mahalaga may naiwan sila para sa atin.. ung musik nila... and be grateful for that.

the answer is... his new effort pales in comparison to his work with rico blanco's rivermaya and ex bamboo bandmates. his best atribute is his voice and its barely audible. if this is the best he can do, then its no suprise he's has all these questions gnawing at him. there are time's when we think to highly of ourselves. in the end... its who we are.
