I love AVA, but his new voice just doesn't work with blink. Also, he songs way too much on Neighborhoods. Mark was kinda the main singer before, and I don't think that should have changed, especially since Tom doesn't sound like old Tom. New Blink is okay, but old Blink was the best. I wish they still sounded the same...

@redbearwoodall Mark was never the main singer. Of the 129 songs blink-182 has performed (studio compositions, live songs, and covers), Tom has been the lead singer on ~59 of those songs. Mark has been the lead singer on ~48 songs. They have released 17 duets, and each has performed along side Robert Smith. They also have played 3 instrumental songs. If anything, Tom has been the "main" singer--but only marginally. And Tom's voice isn't new. It's been slowly changing for awhile.

Everyone keeps saying that Tom changed his voice, but when you think about it, his voice has just changed from years of use and abuse in Blink, Box Car Racer, AVA...the man's torn up his voice pretty badly, and the "change" in it is really just to compensate.

Go listen to other bands that have been around for 10+ years. Their lead singers have all experienced a change in their voices.

Tom has an AWESOME voice, don't get me wrong, I love it, but I don't know if he has medical problems that causes him to sing so poorly during live performances, I remember him saying in an interview that he had a back problem that caused him horrible pain and needed pain medication that greatly affected his performances.
