I had a '76 Cobra II just like this one - coolest car I ever drove. It could corner like NO OTHER! Seriously, taking a 90 degree right turn onto a cross street going at least 25 mph without breaking - give a quick tug on the wheel, no squeaks or squeels, and you're suddenly driving perpendicular to your previous direction - like nothing ever happened. Well, except for the bodies of my friends being tossed back and forth, other than that, 'twas smooth sailing!

Great video! Like someone commented, Jill's jump suit outfits looked really good on her. They should have given her the extra $5,000 per show that she wanted to keep her on the show! Again, this is an excellent video! Thanks for posting!

That's why my wife doesn't drive my 03 Mach 1 no more. Going into that driveway that fast smashed my chin spoiler and had to replace it. With OEM part of course.

@8213killer, in later episodes the front valence is completely missing and then replaced but they didn't put the blue stripes on it.

After seeing that video, I'm almost sad I just bought the same car yesterday - LOL!!!! Only 61k, and a 351-crate motor. But unlike Jill's, mines very, very fast : )

After this show debuted, I was of course in love with Farrah, and HAD to have that car. So, my dad and I went to a local Ford dealer (in Fillmore, CA), where I picked out a blue with white stripes Cobra II. I was 19 and needed a cosigner, so dad gladly lent his autograph. I had the plaid cloth seats and stainless bumper insert fills.

The car started rusting in 2 years, and got traded in within 4. It was a real piece of junk. But, I miss it to this day!

Thank you for posting this. This show had such a big impact on my love for Mustang II's I watch reruns just to see the Mustangs. Not only that, i love Farrah and Jacyln too! I have always wondered what happened to the Cobra and Mustang II (Kelly's car) after the show ended. Would love to have them!

Thanks for your response. Ebay sometimes has cars for sale that mention they are like that in the series. I doubt they are the actual series cars though. Although the Cobra II wasn't pushed too hard during the series Kelly's and Sabrina's car were driven pretty hard. Kelly'scar did some pretty out of control stunts. I'm surprised the wheels didn't come off totally in some episodes or maybe they did - that would be a great blooper reel. And that Pinto didn't have it any easier.
