  • The Corner was real I mean real ..I grew up with all of the people in the movie. They taught me not to become a durg user. They will tell me I better not cauth you out here ...

  • "god damn niggers lazying around in the street!" hahaha!

  • To all who wonder how Fran Boyd Andrews is doing, she is doing great! Her and her new husband Donnie andrews have an organization called 'Why Murder?' Go to aol search engine and type: 'why murder donnie andrews 'or message me on youtube for the actual website. youtube wont let me post the website on here. on their website they have an address where to make donations. what a blessing to see people delivered from the streets and kind enough to go back and reach out!!! God bless you Fran Boyd!

  • yo philly is nothing like bmore thats why the wire wasnt filmed in philly yall dont have any drug history in yall city ,bmore is known as the worst drug and homocide city.and every day more drugs are gettn sol, more corners are being endited, shit we got blue police light camera on light poles...shit is real (live form dat bodymore murdaland)

  • @spookyqwe123 What you're saying doesn't make sense. They picked Baltimore to do the show "Wire" because of the HBO series The Corner. The writer of the Corner is a Baltimore native. Thats why Baltimore was the focus. But Philly, New York City, Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles, New Orleans, houston, etc. every city has this problem happening in their city in the hood. It's just not a Baltimore thing. You find this in every city thats why so many people can relate to the show.

  • @spookyqwe123 Nigga KILLYOSELF!! 1st off I aint neva seen "PHILLY" on the FIRST 48 so until then yall aint no fuccin murdaland boo nobody eva hears of Philly! Unless they lookin at The Fresh Prince WTF GTFOH bruh wit det shit

  • Is this in baltimore to?

  • @dickum33 yup

  • for the recoverying addict his series is like medicine to remind u this is not what u wanna do or who u wanna be

  • alot of actors from this show worked on The Wire as well

  • @ 6:27 funny af

  • now hiring --- careerstarts.info --- don't wait

  • Damn, things got rough for Freamon after he quit.

  • somebody needs to put the whole season up.. does anyone know where I can buy the season?

  • @RoTV34 u can download it with utorrent

  • @eschude what is utorrent? is that something i need to download to my comp?

  • @RoTV34 yes download that

  • This show is WAY better than The Wire. Much more realistic and accurate. No good guys or bad guys, just natural West Baltimore life as far as drugs are concerned.

  • he played in south central? the guy in the green shirt

  • Yea true .. Some should post the whole thing part for part. if i can get it off TPB or something ill do it.

  • ashy larry

  • is that Lester?

  • @domeslacker yeah theres like 30 people from the wire on this show, this show is why they made the wire.

  • @domeslacker o indeed...clarke peters=wonderful,underrated actor...also a david simon alum...the corner,the wire and now treme

  • vonte` u remind watching dis in the summer

  • "your arms do look RAW"

  • Look @ Tasha Smith 4:46

  • i luv this dam show i wish they would show it again its so sad but its good and so real

  • Comment removed

  • Damn. I need to find this on DvD or something.

  • damn Lester, I thought you retired!

  • i cant believe this was from 2000! i remember it so vividly, well maybe cuz i watched it on BET, but still, i remember the plot and everything

  • The corner is good, but I like the Wire better. The corner focuses too much on the dopefiends and the shit gets depressing.

  • @jkdobby the corner is better than the wire ...in the wire there arent no crooked cops ...its one dimensional ...good show tough

  • @buakawkaoklai There are crooked cops on the wire... Don't you remember officer walker?

  • @JoeWunsch... nigga its the whole force ...fuck ppl are brainwashed by cop shows ...like they are altruistic persons ...everybody is narscistic by nature...its a survival mechanism...a lot of fucking shows depict cops as heros or out there to help ppl and not themselves and their families...the most realistic cops in tv shows are from the shield...

  • @buakawkaoklai Yeah The Shield was an amazing television show, it was one of the best ever to be made imo.

  • @buakawkaoklai The Shield realistic?

  • @drktigger yeah...cops doing dirt ...going to jail...killing people..taking bribes ...pulling heists....do you want more than that...?

  • @JoeWunsch man officer walker is just a rain drop in a sea of crooked cops...police taking money drugsfrom dealers ...conspiring to kill...putting hits on ppl for gangs...taking bribes...sticking ppl up...

  • @buakawkaoklai No crooked cops on The Wire? McNulty's an alcoholic who juked homeless deaths to look like serial murders; Bunk coerced a confession out of a hopper from a copy machine dressed up like a polygraph; Officer Walker; Prez blinded a kid in one eye; Daniels has a mysterious and probably crooked past that keeps getting mentioned; Herc and Carver both took their own slice from a drug/cash raid and won't hesitate to beat the shit out of hoppers.

The Wire is chock FULL of crooked cops.

  • @WildWestSamurai Herc and Carver didnt take the $ , it got lost in the trunk. Carver was the snitch for a different department when they were on the 1st detail. Herc was so pressed for his video camera that he ruined Randys life when people thought he was a snitch. - and then he moved on to work for lawyer Levy and got Marlo out of jail free cuz he was playin both sides of the fence .. Herc is the one i couldnt stand

  • @BookingBossDC actually at the end of the 1st season when the hit the stash house they were searching a room and flipped a mattress with money underneath and they looked at each other and started stuffing stacks inbetween they chest and bullet proof

  • @WildWestSamurai The funniest part is I can think of a bunch more examples just off the top of my head...the upper chain of command covering up embarrassing legal subpoenas, Vernan and Holly not wanting to examine evidence Omar is not guilty, and that's not even mentioning all the shit Officer Walker and his friends pull.

No corrupt cops in the Wire...haha I think the dude meant there is like only one NOT corrupt cop (i.e. Shakima Greggs) and even she beats a dude in custody.

  • @gnomemage7 Oh, Bird? Yeah, Kima, Landsman, AND Daniels beat his ass. To be fair... he DEFINITELY had it coming. lmao

  • @gnomemage7 Well, to be fair, when Greggs, Landsman, and Daniels were beating on Bird, the dude was kind of asking for it. lmao I mean, really? "Cunt-eater"? I'm surprised she didn't shoot his ass and find some way to call it self-defense.

  • Comment removed

  • @jkdobby Ah yeah, the not so depressing focus on corrupt politicians, murdering, urban decay, dying industries...I get it ;O

  • @jkdobby The Corner focused on a particular family that got affected by the "corner" of West Baltimore. The Wire focuses on the city, politics, police, etc. being affected by the "corner".

  • @jkdobby The Corner is about real people ,to each it's own I guess you just like fake shit but both are good I like the corner better the wire came off fake alot of times

  • Tasha Smith totally knocked her role out of the park!

  • There was no reason to smack that poor horse.

  • Yo real ish right there

  • this is real life shit i know 2 much abou

  • thats the detective from the wire

  • dude in the Background is my brother...hehe!

  • i wonder if bet going to play dis again

  • @suchalady91 they replayed it on HBO a couple months ago

  • look at his hand omg ewww

  • is that charles s. dutton off camera?

  • @transvestitebeth

    yes, he directed the series

  • @transvestitebeth Yes thats Charles "Roc" Dutton. He created this miniseries. Dutton grew up on the streets of Baltimore himself...even served time in prison before becoming a tv star. Dude knows all about the rough and tough streets of Baltimore.

  • @bmorecity20 shit brain

  • @bmorecity20 OMG the white trash is poisining my city they create these meth labs and the fumes are killing me. They pick and eat their scabs after they get high to get high again ewwww. Fucking white filth saving their piss to re cook it and get meth out of the piss and use it again. The filthy white not teeth old looking scavengers. He he you idiots use piss for currency. Stupid white trash go cook some windex, bleach and cough syrup before you try to point the figner.

  • i've lived in 4 different ghettos in my life, i thought they were pretty harsh until i saw this movie.

Makes me feel glad i don't live in places like this anymore..mom is makin that paper now, & has a good college education.

  • @AMMA83

the real good stuff should be bought. And I can tell ya the Corner is worth buying. its much more worth..

I didnt know it was derived from a book though, so im gonna look for that now.

    one.

  • Yes,I didn't realise you could buy it until today. I won't get it in a UK stores.. so I'll look for it on Amazon..yeh definitely get the book, it's very well written and gave me a deeper insight into the inner city neighbourhood that I was living in at the time.(Camden,nj)

  • SO TRUE!!! Everybody's looking for a little love! I almost went for a whole bottle of whine after a bad grade.

  • That Fils suit is ill as fuck!

  • i love this! i have both of the cd's. i love it. i wached it once and couldent stop. its hard to find the series but i got it at big lots. its like 10 buks but every cent is worth it.the ending is deep...i love this its my favorite show

  • Lester doesn't do as good a job as a drug addict as Bubbles does

  • yeah he would better be suited as a pimp or hitman

  • Oh My Gosh Like All Dem In The Beggining Were In The Wire HAHA

  • So is it like this? I've been to Baltimore once and it was. I hope (my naivete) that it's getting better. Yeah, right! Like the rest of the country. The world.

  • the man in the blue shirt was a prison guard on the wire that got busted for bringing drugs into the prison!

  • that first he interview was funny

  • I remember this series. It was like the precursor to "The Wire". David Simon is a genius.
