One issue that should be discussed here is the many cases of people who are born with ambiguous sex organs. Can you blame that on nurture? Some people who have masculine faces are born with both sex organs and doctors assume this should be a male. But that has been proven many times to be a mistake when later in life the "man" feels that he should have been a woman and has a sex change procedure. I saw a documentary on this. If it can happen physically then it can happen mentally.
It always suprises me when i hear of identical twins who are not the same sexuality. I am an identical twin, yes we are and have always been gay. I know DOZENS of sets, YES all gay... and i ONLY met two sets where one was gay and the other straight. But the one set, a brother said he thinks his bro is in the closet cause he's very religious. and other set, his "straight bro" has sex with men on the DL. Genetic homosexuality contradicts itself. Genes play 2 roles: to define our physical appearances, and to pass on genotypic information to the next generation. Since 2 fe/males can't reproduce, their genes information would not pass on. Why code for something that is genetically suicidal?

Intolerance is a huge issue with the homosexual community. It causes over 30% of suicides every year, and increases the chance of drug abuse and mental issues. One issue that should be discussed here is the many cases of people who are born with ambiguous sex organs. Can you blame that on nurture? Some people who have masculine faces are born with both sex organs and doctors assume this should be a male. But that has been proven many times to be a mistake when later in life the "man" feels that he should have been a woman and has a sex change procedure. I saw a documentary on this. If it can happen physically then it can happen mentally.

But they know genes are involved in sexual orientation because they were able to partially genetically manipulate them in fruit flies, found to be biological. The genes are carried through the maternal line by the female. It is beneficial to female fertility but antagonistic to male gender. It's a real phenomenon found in animals. @prime440- It is up to the individuals to know about safe sex practices. Do you think people, gay or straight, aren't aware of that in this day and age? It's 2011. Some people simply choose not to practice safe sex even if they are aware of the risks. It doesn't mean such risks target a certain orientation. Educate yourself.....

There are plenty of health risks for opposite sex activity. They all can catch the same thing because none of this diseases target specific people for their orientation. Intolerance is a huge issue with the homosexual community. It causes over 30% of suicides every year, and increases the chance of drug abuse and mental issues. Suppressing gay feelings causes the person to feel shame and sadness when the feeling fights through. If anything, its causing severe mental and emotional issues.

well i have to adapt my own post a bit. total assimilation isn't necessary. there should be room for multiple cultures but one culture shouldn't try to erase the other culture, a case of enjoying each other's differences without any pressure. but what is absolutely necessary for peaceful co-existing is knowing the lingo of the place you live and you should always contribute in a + way to your new society. but maybe this is a discussion we should have somewhere else...
