if u don't have repousse you need to update drivers, go to preferences in PS, performance tab, checked the Enable Open GL option, should work. If not change graphic card ;)

If you don't have 3d tab on photoshop it's because the ps you have is not extended

and if you don't have repousse, your video card is too old

Does the image resolution affect render time much? My Macbook Pro is taking minutes to render words with just a few letters. How can I shorten the render time in Photoshop?

I say continue to do CS5 tutorials! It doesn't matter if people all have CS4/CS3, if we are going to get quality videos, we need to have the latest and greatest. CS5 is the latest, and these tutorials are the greatest.

One of the things I find most fascinating about Photoshop in general is indestructible design. I like how you can change settings and alter the image.
