Carron Valley Trails

this is the nearest trail park to me and to be honest I wasn`t impressed, maybe I`ve been spoiled with laggan and glentress but this place I thought lacked everything, really basic trails, no cafe and you`d better save money for new suspension for your car `cos the road into it is the worst I`ve ever driven and I`ve been the length and breadth of this country in my job, the approach road had me and other drivers weaving from one side to the other to avoid the biggest potholes I`ve ever seen!

Carron valley is nothing more than a quick blast - only takes about an hour to get all the way up and then back down again. Its ok for a warm up, but i wouldnt waste a day out going there. Im only a 30 minute drive away otherwise i wouldnt bother.

i went to carron valley i went camping and

had an ausome time utill i went on the trails

i was on the run way then i fell near the end

ended up with stiches in my head a broken arm

What, 2mins 15? Yeah, it was nice and dry etc, got 2.17 one time and 2.15 another. I don't think the trail is supposed to be ridden like that though (you land a couple of metres after the landing strips on every jump!) Thanks for the comment.

Has anybody tried timing themselves down the 'Fun park'/'Runway' trail? My best, (from signpost to signpost) is 2mins 15secs (av. speed 19.1mph) so far...

Anybody beat that? Just curious...
