Did anyone suggest to the Clintons or Bush, or Obama that the release of Vanunu might cover for the release of Pollard? BTW, I do not believe money motivated Pollard; he is an Israel Firster. Contrary to "Spying for Dummies" he drew attention to himself and treated others with contempt. That is the only reason he was ever caught: it is nearly impossible to fire federal employees unless they abuse classified information. So his boss decided to check him out and the rest is history.

On May 11, 2010, the Israeli Supreme Court ruled that Mordechai Vanunu, will serve a three-month jail sentence handed to him by Jerusalem District Court and not community service.

The justices refused Vanunus offer to do community service in occupied east Jerusalem, because they do not view that side of town to be a part of their community.
