Thanks for the kind words, TMOG. They way I play it this tune it has a fairly repetitive A part, and for the B part the fiddles drone (or else shuffle notes down the scale, or chord G, C D) and the banjo does some simple invention.
Sounds a lot stronger as a duet than for either instrument solo. I learned this version at one of the Brandywine Mountain Music festivals in southeast PA.
