Germany, France, and the UK MUST lead the drive and push for more Democracy and Transparency in the EU! He really is fighting for all of our civil liberties, and as such is a hero. It makes me laugh in a saddened way that he is still popularly portrayed as a xenophobe and bigot. He is a democrat. The EU is backdoor trap to quietly kill our political rights in the name of 'the greater good'. That it is reminiscent of the Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia completely flies over people's heads. Social democracy is the new threat to our democracy and civil liberties (as pitiful as they may be).

Although the banking cartel would benefit greatly from the gold standard currency that Ron Paul endorses, they are also extremely scared of his coming into power because it would mean an audit of the Federal Reserve and of Fort Knox. They've done everything in their power to suppress media coverage and rig the GOP elections to the point where 3 state RP chairmen resigned.

Most of the Germans I know (I'm English, married to a German & live in Germany) would love to get the D. Mark back again. They are fed up with bail-outs. One of the problems with getting Germans to say 'No', lies with the German subservience to authority. They're not used to standing up against corrupt politicians, having had it drummed into them for centuries that they have to bow to those in power.
