  • why is the seaplane at 4:12 labelled C3P0?

  • I'm going on Halloween day, I'm an American, but I live in Tokyo - just an hour away!!! :3

    Gaaaaaaaah!! I can't wait.

  • I'm going there on this coming mid-October with every family members. Every time I went there, there was always a question coming to my mind of "Why can't they speak English?" or at least have some captions for English speaking persons. Japanese people are very nice, their theme parks are also very nice, it would be great to talk to them and understand what they are talking. I'm gonna be there for 1 whole day, hopefully it's gonna be another memorable and unforgettable moment of my life.

  • Thanks for the upload!

  • อยากไปญี่ปุ่นมากๆ

  • They are building Disney Sea America at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim. It's in an official press release from Disney.

  • @Smallpoxproductions That'd be awesome!!! There wouldn't be a need to travel that far to enjoy cool rides. What's your source of info?

  • @Greenkai3000 Wow i can't believe i said that, shows how much you can mature in 6 months lol.

But the Disneyland President did hint to a 3rd theme park, "I see great potential with our 85 acres of land". Also it is known that he wants more rides and another theme park. I do apologize though for lying about the Disney Sea America though.

  • @Smallpoxproductions Lol, you had me for a sec there Although a DisneySea America WOULD be nice to have. Where in the world would they put it if they didn't take over other properties in Anaheim

  • @Greenkai3000 DLR owns the old strawberry feilds property with an employee lot next to it adding to 83 to 85 acres of land, about 2 blocks from Disneyland.

  • Disneysea SUCKS ! There wasn't that much to do....

  • The volcano will no longer be the largest rock structure built by disney. When cars land opens in 2012 it will take the the #1 spot as the largest man-made rock structure built by disney.

  • the documentary says this park is the east's best kept secret. it's because disney doesn't advertise the existence of this park and of tokyo disneyland. why? because they are the only 2 disney parks in the world that they don't own. the company that owns and built these parks, oriental land company, pays a license fee to disney. that means disney receives less money in percentage from this park than from the other parks, which they own.

  • Lol Japanese people are shy? I'm pretty sure i'm a counter example tho

  • my dad's birthday is on disneysea's anniversary... september 4 :D :D

  • I'm definitely considering going here. If just for the fact I'd have an actual reason to go to Japan, other than to see the Feudal Castles :P

  • This is probably the only good thing Eisner has done.

  • @Benstudio13 this park actually wasn't built and financed by disney, but by oriental land company, the company that owns tokyo disneyland. the japanese disney parks are actually the only disney parks in the world not owned by disney they were built under license by a japanese company. disney gets only 10% on tickets and 5% on merchandise sold at the parks.

  • @animoeblob I know, but it said in this special that Eisner did it with the Oriental Land Company. I understand that they really own it and they wanted it but if it weren't for Eisner the park probably wouldn't exist. Since he is the one that let them have permission to use the characters and stuff.

  • @Benstudio13 ah, ok, i see what you mean.

  • I heard that they were going to have fantasmic over there at tokyo Disney Sea

  • Omg, I go here with my family every year for 4 days during spring, and whenever I'm not there, I spend my days counting until we get to go there again. I love Disneyland and Sea, it is literally the Happiest Place on Earth. Every time I step into the Disney park, I almost cry from the happiness.. <3

  • the only thing that always upset me was the fact DisneySea was originally gonna open in Long Beach, California instead of Tokyo, Japan, oh well

  • @ShootStyleZombie I never knew that it was going to be in Long Beach

  • @ShootStyleZombie the concept that was built in japan was not the same as the one imagined for anaheim though. japanese artists and enginers worked on tokyo disney sea, and oriental land company actually asked for more details to be added, while disney usually asks for lots of cuts. while the previous park, tokyo disneyland, is just a carbon copy of magic kingdom.

  • I'm going to Tokyo this December! CAN'T WAIT!!

  • すごい!

  • wow i hope i get to see such cute guys like the Indiana ride cast member and the flounder balloon vendor on my trip.

  • The attention to detail at Disney Sea Tokyo is amazing. I've been there four times and noticed different things each time. I wish there was another one in the States!

1.Tower of Terror(Much like the American one but the story is not the same) 5

    2.Disney Transit Steamer Line

    4.Toy Story Mania!(Under Construction)

  • I have a question someone plz resopond! Im going to tokyo disneysea 19 , 20 of july and are you aloud to ride rides by yourself.. im 13

  • i went there for my high school band trip ahhh soo much memories

  • where are the fuckin' rides?!?!

  • tokyo disneyland would have to be the best disney resort in the world (apart from the original) it has so many things that would amaze you, Tokyo Disney Sea is just full of "Oh My God" moments, journey to the centre of the earth still stays as the best ride at any disneyland i have been to, you should check it out.

  • DisneySea is the best park in the world.

  • it's amazing Place Ever and wishing that once again i can back at TDS, and I may say, It's the best place ever in the World. A romantic place for adult and A fantasy World for kids!

  • ertguyjyht43sfgfgh4r5gh7/*/7*8989456543eresugklj9823u489ujfokvjxclkvn

  • disney sea opened on my dads birthday...

  • i just went there and i went on journey to the center of the earth (the mountain) 9 times and im still not tired of it. especially the last drop when you can see everything

  • this disney sea tokyo YOU HAVE TO GO ITS AMAZING :D i loved every minute of it and if you ever wanna know --the money in japan is easy to understand and everyone is nice and friendly ull nvr get lost BUT GO TO THIS PARK ITS AWESOME

  • Im Going To Tokyo In About 3 Months, I Cant W8 To Check This Out!!!

  • I like to visit this theme park.

  • omg it is so fun i went in winter break omg it is a wonderful moment

  • I've been to all the American Disney Parks and both Japan Parks, and I have to say this place is special. Although Disneyland will always be the best because of Walt's own personal touch on the park, DisneySea is the best second park. It is totally immersive, well thought and un-Eisner-cheap. I wish we could trade them for DCA.

BTW, Journey to the Center of the Earth is one of the best rides ever. The creature at the end scared the shit out of me.

  • so which one is better Disneyland or Disneysea? i'm going to visit Tokyo next month...advise plz. Thx

  • @cesarionuback

disneyland is just like the disneyland in california. i would recommend it to young children and teens. disney sea is more for adults and older children because the rides could be alittle scary. but both parks are very fun to go to.

  • @cesarionuback DisneySea

  • @thepowerofzang Hey you say you have been to the Tokoyo Disney Sea Park? WOW!! I love Ariel the Mermiad and was wondering if there is a lot of stuff about her there. and if u send me a message back please tell all about the Journey to the center of the earth ride. Also tell me everytihng you can

  • @thepowerofzang do you know disneyland Paris !!! It's incredible too

  • @thepowerofzang i couldnt go on it because it went out of order just when we got to the front of the line =_=

  • @thepowerofzang was the language an issue, because thats the only thing id be worried about going here?

  • @barrybonds101 doesn't hamper the experience in the slightest, The only awkward moment i had was one one of the interactive shows where they talk to the audience

  • But none of those parks even come close to DisneySea in quality. DisneySea is one of a kind and unlike any theme park experience in the world.

  • to tell you the truth, I've been, and I'm more impressed with Animal Kingdom than DisneySea. Thats just my opinion.

  • @TheScratchedVideo you got to be kindding me, compare to disneysea, animal kingdom is shit.

  • @TheScratchedVideo you gotta be joking. Animal Kingdom, IMO, is an okay park, but lacks in things to do. I would actually put DCA over Animal Kingdom. Disneyland California is the best of the Magic Kingdoms (been to all), but Tokyo DisneySEA will always be the best second gate. The price tag to build TDS was 4.2 billion dollars (and that was back in 2001)!!!!!!!!!

  • DO WANT

  • The place is incredible. Went in 2007 and trying to get back there.

  • I'm going to Japan in 2011, with my brother and friend.

They were like "yeah, we'll do all this stuff, and even spend a day at Disneyland"

I was like "what? JUST a day?"

So as I did the booking, I accidentally added an extra 3 days to our trip...woops!

  • @Treemeadow Good job!

  • @Treemeadow i live there i will go the in saturday yay!!

  • I'm excited...I'm gonna visit tokyo disney resort on December!!!

  • Im going to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea this December too! :D im also extremely excited.

  • im going to toyko disneyland on December 8th with my friend cant wait!!!!

  • mysterious island looks cool. if i lived in tokyo, id have a year pass

  • i was there this year :D! luv it <3

  • jsut got back from disneyworld today :(... i really want to go here next!!!

  • tokyo disney sea is so amazing. my favorite area is "mermaid lagoon" where it feels like you really are a part of ariel's world.

  • -sigh- i had to leave didnt i?

  • I miss Japan. :( :))

  • I wonder if they speek english there ?

  • they speak korean, chinese, japanese and english .

  • DISNEY SEA IS THE BEST! :D:D:D

  • I am going to tokyo on june 11 this year

  • Have fun!!:) Tokyo disneysea looks unreal!:)

  • How was Tokyo Disney land... I am planning a trip there for my whole family and I would like to know what the weather was like in June.... Hope you had a blast...:-)

  • japan is really hot in summer

and i would recommend getting fastpasses b/c jpan disneyland is always packed but its amazging. gotta go on poohs honey hunt and ii guess now they have monsters inc ride in tokyo disneyland. disneysea go on the volcano ride. forgot what it was called seomthing to the center of the earth. ahhh-mazing.

i love it so much! have fun! :D

  • The official name of the park is "Tokyo Disneysea" NOT "Disneysea, Tokyo". This annoys me, why did they have to say the name wrong? And this park isn't "Waterbased". A lot of the rides have nothing to do with water.

  • I don't see it as waterbased either.

It has more of a water theme to it, seeing as the park is encircling the lagoon.

  • im going there in septmeber :D

  • is diney sea only in japan??

coz if so im lucky iv been

  • i want to go to Disney Sea it looks gr-gr-great!!

  • woah what about pearl harbour or the titanic, as long as you can imagine right?

  • Wow, how many stereotypes about the Japanese people does this documentary have to promote?

  • I didn't see any stereotypes. Japanese are shy and polite but not overtly friendly.

  • I live in Tokyo and have been to Disney Sea twice. Love it - a more mature Disney. Less kids, less D-characters, less D-commercialism. The food is better, there's alcohol, and the attractions are fun.. save 20,000 Leagues under the Sea which is just a waste - ride in a diving bell & watch stuff through the glass if you can. The Indy Jones ride is mega-fun, though! I LOVE the SS Columbia restaurant - designed inside like a traditional diningroom on an ocean liner from the early 1900s.

  • i want to go to this park so much!!

  • well it more park than movie studios to me beacuse it said i am still wating for new park at tokyo disney resort

  • Thanks for posting!!! I've seen this on Travel Channel a long time ago and I wanted to have it!!! Thanks again!!!
