I am one of the biggest Final Fantasy 4 fans you could meet, and the idea of Cecil being able to revert back into a dark knight is just painful to look at. His dark knight form represented his naivity and that he was blindly following the orders of a monster. Even the name Cecil means blind. Basically, being able to revert back means he is re-douching himself.

If there is a Dissidia II, the new characters I would hope for would be:

Kain (FFIV), Rydia (FFIV), Vivi (FFIX), Beatrix (FFIX), Celes (FFVI), Edger (FFVI; his tools would be fun to fight with), Gilgamesh (FFV), Faris (FFV), Rinoa (FFVIII), Quistis (FFVIII), Auron (FFX), Yuna (FFX or FFX-2 Gunner form, either would work), Vincent (FFVII), Tifa (FFVII), Xande (FFIII), and Leon (FFII).

Well, it is said that Kain, YES! IT'S KAIN!!!, will appear in the Dissidia sequel, obviously that Liam O' Brien will, definitely voice again as Kain (remember FFIV for NDS?) Much more, I can remember Cecil and Kain as Sasuke and Gaara from Naruto (Yuri and Liam voiced them respectively.), even they're different from that way.

BTW, many Dissidia fans would like to add Lightning in the sequel, but... WHO ARE WILL BE IN HER COMPANY? (Maybe Lighting fighting alone is okay for me too.)

It took me a while but I finally found the difference in the changes when Cecil goes into EX mode, like Cloud, Squall, and Tidus his weapon also changes rather than their appearance even when he switches from light to darkness and vice versa.

It's a shame that Anime and RPG voice actors don't cooperate with other voice actors. Imagine a game with all those great VA's, plus other VA's from W-RPG and action games!

I would like to have David Hayter and Jennifer Hale voicing characters in every game. None of three girls here really match Hale's voice, but Hayter's voice could match Squall nicely. Then Squall will be SNAKE!!!

Paladin(Holy Knight) (Fast and Defensive)

Dark Knight (Slow and Brutal)

Dragoon(Dragon Knight) (He uses Saint's Fall, and wields a lance when not in EX)

@kelpmerrow They're more likely to add Seifer and Rinoa from 8. For 6, more likely Leo or Locke along with Shadow or Celes. Sucks that it's more of a popularity contest than it being about good taste, but that's how it goes. Though, Gau would be pretty pointless with Bartz around.

@Riketz Too true...but still I think Relm at the least would be a very creative choice, what with the pictomancy and all. If Rinoa, Celes or any other main female gets chosen, I don't mind cause I like them all, but just about any 'mage' character would do it for me. I don't think Bartz would be competion for Gau though since Gau mimics monsters not allies. But since they already have Bartz, would they stick in any one else from FF5? Considering they can all do what Bartz does?

Yuri Lowenthal as Cecil (Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto), Christopher Sabat as Garland (Piccolo, Vegeta and others from Dragonball Z), Johnny Yong Bosch as Firion (Ichigo Kurosaki from BLEACH, along with others) and and Dave Wittenberg as Kefka Palazzo (Kakashi Hatake from Naruto).

You can only do that in EX-Mode by pressing Square+R. I never really do it though... after a while you don't need to. You can switch pretty smoothly without having to worry about it too much.

It depends on the HP attack used. If it's a ground then Dark Knight, midair HP attack= Paladin.

You can switch between both at will in EX-Mode. I believe the command is R+Square. Haven't played in a long time. It's the same one for Seph's Heartless Angel.

You can also switch jobs without EX-mode. To become a Paladin, use the square button in the air. To become a Dark Knight, just the Square button on the ground.

One's slower than the other, but it's proven to be very effective.

Yuna and Vincent share a unique fact that they are both the main heros to sequals of their origonal games. so adding Yuna and Vincent as FF7's and 10s 3rd character would make more sence, at least to me

summoner can have acess to magic ranged attacks, as well as summoning battle spirits. like a ghost version of yojimo dashing forwerd slashing with his sword, then fading away.

and with her gunner form she can consentrate on ranged physical attacks

Yes he could. In fact Cecil changes between his forms depending on his position. Ground attacks are always in DK form and aerials are in Paladin form.

Yeah I never understood the whole spear thing myself, it's just the weapon he has in his Amano art, that's why he has it. He uses it pretty much like a sword though so it makes no difference to me.

He uses spears because the guys wanted Kain in the game, but they couldn't use him so they gave Cecil spears to use. He can even obtain a weapon named after him
