  • Cool vid , and what lovely music. What is the song called

  • lol wtf why so many crew members?

    I can install 4KW myself...

oh yeah btw... you dont need 20 panels. Just use good quality panels that generate 1KW per Unit, so you need only 4 of them.

  • lol wtf why so many crew members?

    I can install 4KW myself...

  • Very out of focus and slow!! Good idea though!

  • i work this but non of my co worker go up the roof without the right equipment safety is first

  • How is the finished installation?

  • 11 people have oil wells.

  • seems like the sun its not very bright there...lol

  • seven mexicans on a roof and not one harness lol

  • @mudkrab harness is for sissies que paso?

  • did you know solar Panels only last 20-25 years IF YOUR LUCKY! then its Toxic waist..

    >>> It is estimated that a ton of SF6 equals a greenhouse effect of 25,000t of CO2. SF6 can be reduced to sulphur dioxide (SO2), the emissions of which can result in acid rain. Overuse of SF6 can undermine climate change targets by the use of solar power, as SO2 emissions create a high greenhouse effect. <<<

Dark Secrets they DON'T tell you .. do a Google of “Toxic waste of solar” or “Toxic Waste of PV sf6”.

  • @canectar

Its not neccesarly toxic waist, i've read the article youve mentioned, and it says clearly that PV systems can be fully recycled. But youre right, if its not recycled it is very bad for the environment.

  • OR IF YOU GOT A BIG ASS SNOWSTORM AND SNOW BLOCKING THE SUN!

  • OK!!!

What if there a hailstorm size of baseballs?

    Will it damage it??

  • what a piece of shit !!!

  • what i see in this video is very worrying. In my opinion it's a CRIME for the company manager allow the workers to operate without any security system for the LIFE SAFETY OF THE WORKERS.

I do not think that the Governor of California and Union could be happy for this video.

  • like the song

  • how many tiles did you guys crack? Aren't you supposed to lay down boards or sheets of plywood when walking on tile roofs?

  • @clutchy26 Another crappy, self-educated company.

  • That was a pretty good job that you guys have done. We have a Solar Power Installation company based at Pennsylvania and believe that going Solar is the best way to stay away from pollution!

  • a lot of cash

  • is this a good paying job???

  • nice music, the music comfort my brain...

  • what if you get like 8 inch hail????????

  • If electric cable car ride on high way. not only on cities. we dont need depending oil.

Million of jobs can create too.

  • ohh snaps see that who installed them lol its a white guy claiming to install them it was illegal people see they need us mexicans we do the heaviest hardest jobs

  • i just luv the safety harness's that they wear.

  • have you guy's not heard about cordless battery drills.

  • why no safety gear used here one slip and big trouble

  • how much spend??

  • Are you looking for quality concrete roofs? Look no further, just go to TILE-MOLDS . com and I promise that you simply won't

    regret!

  • Nice install!

  • this beat knocked me out sleeping...whats it called

  • Nice job at the end..stupid sleepy music and no coments...too long video, but done good..

  • The song put me to sleep

  • =)))))))

  • when you get older you get wiser, when you offering around the hat to whip up some cash for his wife and kids then you'll know why I commented on this dodgy practice shown in the video. Perhaps ask your mate to drop a spanner on your head from the second story to convince you?:)

  • @AdScore - you are right about safety. I could have cut that part out, but the point was to train for safety. Your comments are welcome on how to make doing solar safer.

  • not a single piece of safety equipment used! quality. and i dont think you can use gaurd rails on a sloped roof mheraghty at least not where i live but it looks great i am very interested in solar but its hard to find good information about it except of course for the people trying to sell 8000 dollar kits to you

  • I can not see how and where it is fixed on the roof ... Showing this would be important. Nice music and pictures but useless.

  • did they ever here of OH&S? where are the guard rails or safety harness? I see a spanner fell from the roof in this video - was there anybody wearing hard hats? wait till one of his men fall from the roof then he'll know what proper installation methods are about - I'm sure the lawyers will find this video very interesting (music and all)

  • Hard hats? Whats going to fall on there heads? Be a man!

  • You sound like this guy I work with SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY LOL :)

  • Music from Knights and Merchants lol

  • Your video is great.

We are from Spain, see our last solar heating installation video who is called: "El mejor video de instalación ENERGIA SOLAR TERMICA".

  • Great video! I'm installing a 5.9Kw PV solar system on my house. I'm documenting the install on my web site. You can see the work-in-progress at w(cubed) jjhamilton(dot)com/solar

  • Great Video ! ! ! !

Am in AZ. Have a solar hot water system now.

Saved me 40 bucks per month.Cost was the same as a Home Depot regular electric water heater install. Now with new Federal tax credits, this will be my next install. Will reduce my e bill to zero. A much better investment that putting money in stocks, cd's, etc.

  • that looks like a pretty big system. how many KW/hours are produced average per day? i know it says 3kw but is that max on a hot day. it would be more intuative to know the average kwh per day figure. thanx for the vid, peace :)

  • during hot days the power reduces as the voltage drops, but during cold days when the temperature is below average days, but there should be full sunny day, the power generation increases, due to negative temperature coefficent of clee voltage, as temperature reduces the voltage increases and then power so.....

  • guess it works on the same principle as computers, they work more efficiently in cooler conditions.

  • Solar seems like a good option, But when you look at the cost of the systems, and the end payoff for the units, You are looking at at least 10 years before you get any benefit.

New and better solar is around the corner.

If you want to go green Cut your electric use.

Eliminate ghost power and use cfc bulbs, I have 2000 sq ft our average bill is $65.

Now thats Going Green. For you biggest benefit,Get rid of your old fridge, New fridge return of investment 1 - 2 years, we went from $40 month to $6

  • Thats changing everyday. 10 years from now it will be the norm. Just as USB, Sata drivers, laptops, LCD screens in place of CRT, hybrids, fully electric drive cars, underground geothermal air conditioning, dual pain glass windows, solar heating, instant electrical water heaters, and on the lost goes on.

Each I mention were once naysayed. Look at them now. All main stream.

  • 3KW Solar installation - fantastic.

Pissing all that power away on an ornamental waterfall - probably one of the daftest uses i've seen.

Its amazing that folks can be so fortunate, and yet so completely devoid of common sense.

Feng Shui: The ancient chinese art of tidying up and taking your money.

  • For what its worth, we took the water pumping off-the-grid. We have 1KW of solar to batteries to 24v pumps.

The flowing water is actually very cool and now that it lucky solar water!

  • if i would have this installed what did you do which the roof tiles..? I see you take some out first do you place them back afther? Or do you drill small holes in them to place the basis for the panels? Thank you for the great videos.

  • > Nuclearthreat545

No, Personally, I realise that Feng shui is the ancient chinese art of removing money from the easily fooled, so frankly, if he'd used his solar power to reduce his fossil fuel consumption, i reckon that would have been a better move, but hey, its his choice and good luck to him. Why would i be "jealous much" ? - because i dont have a feng shui waterfall ?

  • way to be a dick gug. What do you want him to do? Use the power the city gives him to power the pump? Hes doing more than enough to save enery and if he wants to use other things with the solar than he will. Jealous much?

  • lol Sounded like you were one of those people that come on here and rip on some ones time and money just because you didn't have it.

  • Im going solar but first I am changing rood to metal from tiles as they are a real pain in the backside

  • i dont see them wearing any safety harness?

  • alot of roofers dont wear them.

kind of a bad paying job and dangerous

plus is realy hot in the day.

but a job is a job?

  • Hi

I live in Australia and solar hot water is the only way to go.

It works in the background year in year out. I have no idea how much money I have saved with it over the 40 years I have been a home owner.

Thanks for posting these videos. Just great.

    Cheers

    Bill.

  • Great Bill you got in early any ideas for me in South Africa

  • what are you going to do when your roof tiles break under the panals to many people working and walking on tile roof is asking for problems hope osha does not see this video

  • Good video.Working the way you are, without a scaffold would'nt be allowed in the UK due to our strict health and safety laws

  • why so many dudes, there like ants.

  • ROTFLMAO! This hurts. I can't stop laughing!

  • I think solar electricity is the coolest thing. I own one panel the size of the panels being mounted which is 50 watts 14 volts at 3 amps. I have a few small ones too and used to charge up a car battery with it and run a power inverter in the house for fun and run the tv for 6 hours before it died. not quick enough charging for the run time though. this application here is needed. lots of money but pays itself off and gives dividends over time.
