There is a whole range of QUALITY of employees in this industry as in any other. I can't believe this behavior is a shock to so many people. How naive to expect a person who lives on the poverty line not to snoop and sample when they have access to your cool stuff - even when supposed to be working. The story of a camera "accidently" left on is so transparent as to be laughable. I smell a good way to get free lodging. For believability, accidently leave the camera on it's side next time.

Our trip was amazing, but I feel bad for this woman. At some point in our lives we are all going to do something really stupid. The difference is this woman has it broadcast on YouTube over and over and over. I'm told she is very nice lady with family and friends and I can't imagine how she must feel about this five minute nightmare. My vote would be to appreciate her humiliation and support this lady it moving on. The punishment does not fit the crime

When we stayed at Lahaina shores we rented from Classic Resorts. It was a terrible experience. we found out that you can rent from other management companies at this same location. Do your homework and avoid Classic Resorts.
We stay at Lahaina Shores every year and this is shocking. But I have a solution to this. There is a free tiny lockbox you can use at the front desk. I used it for valuables, but now I'm only going to bring what can fit in the lockbox, especially my toothbrush and underwear. Don't want my personals going down some maids pants, then back out if she changes her mind.
Will you leave your camera in the kitchen of a few restaurants next time yo're in Lahaina? Bet that will get me back on my diet.
Husband and I went there for our honeymoon and they gave us a smoking room when we had requested nonsmoking. We are both allergic and we complained to the front desk and they basically told us 'tough, we don't have any other rooms ava. for you.'
Oh My Goodness! I have stayed at Lahaina Shores on numerous occasions. I'm sure this could happen at any place, but please tell me you showed that to the front desk and the person was fired????? No wonder it takes them so long to prep the room before you can check in! LOLOL!
