Ron Paul will not end the war on drugs. He just wants the fed to get out of that particular business. He wants the states to make their laws in that regard. There is so much money involved in keeping it illegal, I would be surprised if many, if any, out right legalized it. I like some of Rons positions, in some cases he is better than all the others, but in others he is bat shit crazy.
@herpiethelovebug I agree with you on Paul and the Drug War. On some of his ideas being crazy... I know what you mean but one has to consider that we've been fed so much BS for so long, that good ideas themselves can start to sound crazy to us. One thing is for sure, not voting for Ron Paul will at best; only help the status quo stay status quo.

He didn't break the law in the US, he was Canadian and was extradited. The law in the US is far far more strict than it is in Canada, frankly putting someone in a cage because they sold seeds is ridiculous. The whole thing is unprecedented in Canada.
@jessemac13 sounds like you need balls Ron knew about the laws and understood very well all the risks associated with his actions. See he's not a sheep like yo u, he fights for what he believes in.
