Please tell me you are kidding. Yes, those could be symptoms for sure, but they could be symptoms for a number of things. I suggest getting your blood and urine screened for kidney problems. Your doctor will check your BUN, creatinine, protein levels, etc. I have read that normal levels don't necessary mean you are free and clear of melamine. You should specifically have your blood and urine checked for melamine and cyanuric acid crystals by lab certified for testing for melamine.

Make sure to save a few samples of the coffee. If you are out, go buy some more. Find a more obscure store that may not have taken it off the shelves. Try to find some receipts or proof you have been drinking it. Don't panic, but you really should take this seriously.

Other symptoms would be your stomach being bloated, frequent urination followed by difficulty urinating. Sharp pains in the pelvic region or back pains, fatigue, body aches, joint pains, on and on.

Here are the symptoms for a baby as outlined by the WHO.

Clinical manifestations * Unexplained crying, especially when urinating, possible vomiting * Macroscopic or microscopic haematuria * Acute obstructive renal failure: oliguria or anuria * Stones discharged while passing urine. Alright Seems good, I tried going to my local Vietnamese store to get bulk packages of the stuff but they were closed down due to the ceiling leaking and they can't get it fixed so they are closed down indefinitely. I think I am okay, naybe just some bug everyone's getting.

Stomach pain from cyanuric acid maybe or maybe all of the digestive problems. I haven't heard of convulsions or fevers, it could be the other scrap chemicals in it though.

Kidney problems can cause almost any symptom. Now, if it was one massive dose, I'd agree that the symptoms would be something more like not being able to walk straight, extreme fatigue, severe thirst or even death, but if exposed to small doses over a period of time like Lawie is describing, who knows.

Another thing to remember about those poor children in China. Even if they live, they are likely to have a number of illnesses associated with the kidney damage over there lifetime including increased risk of heart disease, cancer, liver disease, neurological disorders and on and on... kidney disease usually progresses too. Hopefully they won't face dialysis or need a transplant. When your kidneys are damaged your whole immune system is compromised.

Milk isn't bad the way God intended it, even from cows, but I do believe it's bad now due to all the antibiotics and crap we feed them that get passed through to our milk.

Unfortunately the same is starting to hold true with all our food meaning eggs, fruits, vegetables, meats, etc. We feed melamine tainted feed to farm raised fish to chickens to beef cattle to dairy cattle. Our fertilizers scare me too now. Let's not even get into the pesticides, colorings and wax they spray on fruit.

By 2010 cancer will be the leading cause of death. Hmmm... I wonder why? If we care about our children, it's time to get back to basics. At least as much as possible. Advances in medicine and technology is great, but not food. God made food the way we need it. Anything else is just screwing it up and going to cause cancer for many of us.
