Atlantic Starr was a great group with it's original line up with Sharon Bryant on lead vocals.The group had a more intense,soulful sound as well as very real lyrics.When the group changed it's lineup in 1985 with Barbara Weathers on vocals as well as some group members who had left the group it kind of made a nose dive,yeah they had some hits after the change but the sound wasn't the same and it began to sound a bit too sappy.
