i fell asleep during it.not great but easy to put someone to sleep.(i also was drunk so i thought he was talking to me so i did everything he said to do.)
This technique puts the brain into a state of confusion and forces it to in a way look for answers. When the brain is in this state it is massively open to suggestion and because it is confused, it will latch onto any form of meaning/suggestion given to it. It is amazingly powerfull and once you learn the technique is quite easy to do.
ah you explain it well... but can you send me a message explaining it in more detail? i asked you out of all the other comments because you explained it best
Really? So I could walk up to any random person in the street and do that, and it would work? Or will it just work on some people? See i really don't believe that it works. I know if someone did that to me, I'd just laugh at um
yeah it works to random folk. I'm working with random people on the street right now with my current ericksonian research techniques etc because I have no friends so I need people and the general public is all i got!!! Its really nerve racking at first but then you just start focusing on more hypnotic language etc. Try it and watch their face go blank. its really cool
@twjacksonsquid Sort of "confusion". In fact it's a "pattern interruption". When something happens like sb. shaking your hand, the brain "simulates" what is supposed to happen next, based on previous experiences. When that pattern is interrupted (the hand is suddenly grabbed and moved in front of your face) the neurons instantly enter the "learning state" where the whole brain is open for new inputs, because it tries to learn a new pattern. That is the state you can use to deepen the trance.
twjack's explanation is pretty spot on and what he means by the state of confusion is a transderivational search. You can also cause this kind of search by asking someone to think about what color their house is and note if their eyes move up and to the side.
Love it at 2:15 "A deep place of comfort, a deep place of relaxation." Such a soothing voice!

Thank you.

Anyone care to explain in layman's terms what he is doing here to cause the trance?
