  • Interesting you say Spanish immigrate to England in 700's, as 10,000 years ago northern Europe was under 1 kilometre of Ice. During that period, those, of the British Isles migrated south re settling in modern day Spain, Italy and Souther France. Genetically there is some evidence to suggest, that those of the Basque region share similar geneology to those in the British Isles. With both being amongst the first settlers from Africa, 35,000 ago, some 20,000 years prior to the Aryan race.

  • 2:25 onwards is good

  • Thank you. Its beautiful music none the less. Does it have Moorish overtones, - with the odd semi tone out of scale. And the Eastern European violin sound, bit like a Gypsy fiddle.

  • If you know, would this music be similar to that that would have played in England during the 12th century? Needing help for writing of a period musical.

  • @arthurphillip

it isnt very alike that this kind of music was played in england at this time 11xx.

this song is pure oriental. in this time the people listen to a more aggresive rythm.

  • @arthurphillip Although spanish immigration to england and ireland happend in the 700s and 1200 due to morish coloniztion in spain, so who knows?
