@MrBuc128 You mentioned Beverly Hills Cop, the funny thing, something the narrator says in the trailer is this film was directed by the same guy who did Beverly Hills cop.
@TheComedyfan123 Yes Martin Brest Directed both this and Bevery Hills Cop. BHC is one of my favorite films of all time but this is slightly bettter .He also directed Scent of a woman with Al Pacino another great film
@MrBuc128 I don't why he stopped doing films after Gigli. I mean, I know a lot of people hate it, but come on, almost every great director makes a bad film or 2, aside from Chris Nolan and Jason Reitman.
@TheComedyfan123 Yeah that's a good question.Maybe he has not been presented with a decent script. I know one of the reasons Ben Affleck hired him for Gigli is because he was a big Midnight Run fan. I never saw Gidli but i heard it was awfull. He is probably waiting for a really good script so that he can make a good comeback
@TheComedyfan123 --Bob Hoskins yes---but also he already did a movie in which he played an always yelling/grizzled cop who is stuck for better or worse with a guy who annoyed him greatly---1990's Heart Condition--with Denzel Washington as the guy who greatly annoyed Hoskins....any chance you were thinking of that movie by any chance?
Another amazing action movie from the 80's, what a great fucking decade.
