Comparing NASCAR to F1 is like comparing American Football to Soccer/Football. Americans and the rest of the world have different tastes in what they find appealing. Americans like the action and the colisions of NASCAR/Football while most non-Americans prefer the precision and rivalry of F1/Soccer. Everyone has their own opinion and tastes so there isn't a "better" sport.

why the hell is everyone ripping on NASCAR? it's more than an oval racing circuit (mind you two tracks are normal). I had the time of my life at the Daytona 500, you saw the whole track, pit stop action, and crashes. But when I watched the F1 in Montréal, I only saw a part of a sharp turn. It felt like a total rip. Did I mention it ripped my ear drums? And it was way more expensive.
