@ROACHIE95 I have a 2004 1.8T and it hits 65 in 2nd gear and hits almost 100 in 3rd. Way faster stock than those stupid v-techs. It's defnitely quick for what it is. It doesn't take much to make it significantly faster either. You can get those flashed now for like $400 and it adds like 40 hp lol. I would do it to mine, but it's got 140k miles on it, so i don't wanna start crankin up the boost in that thing and blow it up lol.

Try to find a Volks bulletin board witch have some used part. You can find a low price vrt or 1.8t big turbo thats already in a mk2 like yours. its easier to fit. Maybe try to sell your vr6! or put it in your garage and after 2 years tired of your volks sell the turbo engine! and put your old vr6 ready to sell.

Supereclipse, his clutch is NOT slipping, LoL. That is a fully built sponsored race car with a twin disk clutch. That was the slick drag tires breaking loose... Yea... The SLICKS were breaking loose LoL - with a car like that, your 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears are non-existent cuz the turbo kicks in with so much power. Especially with the street not having the traction that the track does.

The car alone bought used and stock would cost around 3000 in fair condition. The roll cage and gutting of the car....another 3000. The turbo ALONE 2000 at LEAST. The exhaust 5000 at least, the engine parts such as performance cams, valves, pistons, bored out cylinders all the way to the aftermarket clutch, flywheel, leightweight crank etc...

Plus its got major leightweight body if its runnin in the 9 seconds, carbon fibre hood, trunk, lightweight rims, all thst weight reduction another 4 or 5 thousand your lookin at.....and this shit is all just basic shit and your lookin at about 45 grand..
