This is ridiculous, Einstein said nothing of the sort. In fact Einstein wrote the following: "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it"
We are not aimless. Without craftsmen there is no a house. All things are created by Allah. All things have complexity and wonderful system. This system can be a result of A Perfect Power. If the Prophets did not be, then we wouldn't know why we live. The real world is afterlife. Allah created both good and bad. But Allah is not bad because Allah gave us choice. Allah is going to judge us in other world. Therefore Allah is fair. If you kill a fly as unfair Allah is going to judge you.
Religion is superstition. What else will be taught in schools. Avoiding black cats and walking under ladders. Why terrorise people with hell? Religion is the number one cause of evil. Instead of teaching people evil in schools teach them respect for others and instill morality not to harm them and do good in the world for everyone.
I like what the Kid said.. But i don't agree with religion being taught in our school.. I don't want my kid being taught something else that is from home.
"I would rather live my life as if there is a God & die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is" - Albert Camus (French Philosopher, 1913-1960)
@Stanfordcounty: The point is that the atheist's position that "God does not exist" is pure blind faith! You do not have evidence for that conclusion and it is a con to therefore pass your conclusions about life as scientific and the conclusions of others as merely religious. The controversy is not between faith and science, it is between faith vs faith. Can you prove in a laboratory beyond any reasonable doubt that God does not exist?
@Kr8or: U say "atheism is not a religion". Maybe, if all u call religion is pple gathering 4 liturgical worship. But d truth is, atheism is just as much a belief system hence a religion as Christianity is. Christians believe dat God DOES exist; atheists believe 100% dat God DOES NOT exist. Each on d basis of their held beliefs make scientific assumptions & make moral evaluations. Unless u ve all evidence, how can u b sure your conclusion is correct? It comes down 2 what u believe, your religion!
@Stanfordcounty HAHHAAHAHHAH MISTAKEEEEE , Athiesm is not a belief system , stop listenin to ur priest, i am an athiest and i am telling you, there is no system to what we believe in or dont believe in for that matter, each one of us has his own unique way of drawing conclusions
Kiddo, so far you've thought I was American, a redneck and a Christian. Stop making yourself look foolish and cut the Jerry Springer typing.
Athiesm is a belief system, it starts with the fundemental asumption that their is no God, then forms differing conclusions about ethical and social questions depending on the key thinkers that influence others, similar to any other core belief. Don't pretend that you have a untouchable mind, thats just arrogance.
@doxa54 athiesm is not a religion, religion is defined as a group of worshipers who worshipe what they concider a god, gods, ortheir creator , athiests dont belive in a creator, godnor gods , they dont go have meetings to talk about how to live their lives or worship who created us, at most a small gathering to discuss new discoveries or share opinions
No religion is a belief structure which tells you what happens when you (your consious) die. As aposed to a philosophy which preaches the ungraspable idea of none existance.
what a load of crap and i quote " Evil is what happens when mn doesnt have God's Love" so all these ppl who love "god" and lost their kids to sickness or wars or accidents !!!1 where was God's love to them, and then again isnt "god's" love unconditional ??? and also is Evil is the result of God's Absence ...then that proves either god plays fav and decide to show up in places and not in others (not a fair god) or he cant control the evil in that place (not allmighty)
@cbluver221:00 read translation .... "God Did not creat Evil , Evil is what happens when man does not have God's Love in their heart" i wanted to also on the God did not creat evil but ran out of letters.....i thought God created everything!!!!!!!!!
@mobalias: Your reasoning is flawed. You can't eat your cake and have it. What you perceive as God's unwillingness to prevent evil is really God's willingness to give humanity freedom to decide how to respond. But it is irresponsible when people accept this freedom but blame God for the consequences of their own selfish choices. Are willing to accept God's peace & love to rule your heart? It's your choice. God CAN impose on you but He WILL not because then He will have to undermine your will.
Is God willing to prevent Evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then why is there evil at all?Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God at all?
Epicurus was a Theologist, Einstein was not. Both men were smart but not in the same subjects.
If god can control the absence happiness then he is evil, end of story.
@Stanfordcounty This is you answer which I am repeatedly going to give you... ''There is nothing wrong in the Quran which might in any way suggest that it is not the final word of God''. Now you tell me, what is it that suggests to you that it is not!?!?!
@Stanfordcounty I believe I answered my question when I stated that you prove me that the Quran is not the word of God... I think that the basic fundamentals of Islam is to follow what is ''true'', If it is the truth what you offer I will not hesitate one bit to follow your stated truth cause all I want is to reach God's heart and tell Him how much I am thankful to Him for giving me a chance to prove myself in this world as a good human being and not the follower of Lucifer the Satin... Peace...
Yes, this is the problem isn't it. You hold the fundamental principles of Islam to be true because Islam tells you it is true. So to avoid the circular logic, I ask you once again, are you open to the posiblility that islam is not true?
Its a simple question, please answer it straight this time.
@Stanfordcounty I can not comprehend how to tell you this again and again, Regardless of the fundamentals of Islam, If you show me some thing better than Islam, of course I will be more than willing to believe what you believe in, which on other words very clearly tells you that yes I will begin to believe Islam is a false religion once you tell me that assures me that Islam can be wrong... Simple and easy... I am seeking truth, so show it to me if you can please.... Peace... :)
So actually from your reply I see the answer is yes you would take something as evidence that the Quran is not the word of God. It would have been quicker to just say yes you would. Simply asking me to give my evidence would be pointless if you would never accept it anyway.
What is the grounds on which you hold the Quran to prove itself? Is it, for example, logic? You find the Quran to have a logical consistancy?
@Stanfordcounty No it's not logic, its more to do with proofs and the things which God says in it are really true according to the western scientists... and the fact that I have seen miracles done by it.
You see Islam proves itself and tells every one not to have a blind faith in it but to realise that what it is saying is or can be proven 100 percent correct.
It is to be noted that the prophet was only the person who would write or memorise the verses mentioned by God through angel Gabriel
@Stanfordcounty Well there are verses in the Quran which talks about two streams of seas which do not mix until a point but both are parallel, they discovered it now,
it also states that the pharo of Ejypt shall be recovered as if he were dead a few days ago, they found the body in the early 1900s... also that the earth has 7 layers of protected blankets the Quran states that 1400 yrs ago, also that it extensively talks about embryology in great detail and the scientists discovered it just now
@Stanfordcounty And its says clearly that it is a source of guidance for those who realise that it is from God... and there are so many other things that I can go on and on and on about and it will in itself mesmerise you...
@Stanfordcounty I don't find it to be consistent because of which I believe in it, you can not just summarise it and pack it in a box and say well there you go, no its not like that, its much deeper than that... Consistency is for those who seek the truth, there are some who don't even know what the Quran states but still they are muslims, I say what good is that, one has to feel what God says to his creation to believe in him...
As hope i've made clear before, I don't accept the Quran automatically. So it must prove itself before I would become a Muslim. It is irrelivent that you feel more insight into the Quran as a believer from my point of view.
We can only talk if you accept that the Quran is logically consistant with the world. There is little point in talking about emotion, I don't feel the way you do, and I have scientific beliefs about feeling.
@Stanfordcounty Logic is reasoning and Quran reasons as well as shows proofs...
Believe you me, I have been born in a muslim family but personally I had well I still have western ideas of my life since I was so inspired by the western way of life, it is when I started reading the Quran that I started praying 5 times a day, before this I was like a so called muslim, who had beliefs but never knew what the Quran is saying and what Islam is all about...
I suspected you came from a family that already held the beliefs you profess tbh.
But lets leave psychology out and just focus on the Quran.
So yes you believe the Quran to be factually accurate. Would you now state the Qurans explaination of Evil in the world, preferably from its text.
I'm agnostic, I see a world we don't understand, and just see us as ignorant. I can't say i'm swayed either way theologically, neither side knows anything when it comes down to it
@Stanfordcounty That is a very good question indeed I must say.... But I want to shed some light on my family first... My parents prayed 5 times a day when I was growing up with them, they did time and again persuaded me to pray because it is mandatory but I was never stuck to praying 5 times a day, I was happy the way I was, Infact I was at times angry with God thinking why would He even give me life in this life to prove myself to enter paradise in the after life... But I was naive and wrong.
@Stanfordcounty Well religious people would have a way better answer than what I am going to say but still I would say it any ways... I think to which God allows me wisdom to seek his knowledge as to why evil is allowed is: God sees every thing and through Quran HE clearly shows us how to act to balance between right and wrong and that is what HE requires from us... and for that reason even though the world is perfect as it is but still evil will prevail as long as God lets it to prevail...
@Stanfordcounty Which in other words mean, that God has given every living thing which has intelligence to know God's existence but still some strongly refute that notion and some do believe in God as if they have seen HIM personally. But it is also to be noted that God clearly states that either you believe in ME or not, it does not in any way benefits ME... but also that every thing will be clear to mankind once the resurrection day arrives then those will be in shame who rejected HIM.
@Stanfordcounty So evil will prevail as long as every thing is living on this planet earth and we as Muslims have to persevere through it....
If my islamic culture was that influential how come I came close to God when I am living in an environment where people or openly atheists, agnostics and so many other things, why Islam is the Question... You have to keep in mind I was once angry with God.... :)
You believe in an omni-potent, omni-powerful, omni-benevolent God.
So why does Evil exist? You can't say its all people's fault, we didn't cause the Tsunami that killed thousands on boxing day 2004. If God is loving, that shouldn't have happened.
Yes I took a look at the site. It didn't allow me to ask a question, but I found their answer to evil in the world and it simply dodged the question.
@Stanfordcounty GOD gave us the choice to sin, we picked it for the most part. Would you help your children if they chose to ignore your teaching and not love you? If they ignored your "law" would you not let them suffer for their actions. If you live you life in righteousness HE will protect you from all harm. To be righteous is very hard, it takes constant vigilance, study, and prayer. Peace.
You believe God can do anything, therefore we don't need to learn.
Parents teach children because we are subject to the laws of causality, the God you believe in isn't. The religious suffer, you can deny it all you like, but labeling it 'a test' is nothing more than a coping stratagy.
@Stanfordcounty God says repeatedly in the Quran, those who believe in me because they do, do they for a second think I (GOD) AM not going to test them.... Surely they will be tested the most and hardest.... so any religious person suffering hard only means that God knows that that person shall prevail through it and come out a person with salvation, eternal salvation... and also God says in the Quran that I only burden those whom I test to the level they can bear or tolerate...
It says repeatedly in the Gospel of the flying spagetti monster that pirates are divine beings. Quoting a book at me doesn't help your argument. All religious people do that of all denomonations, you seem to have some numbing mentality that makes you collectively think that what you subjectively base your life around is a universally convincing ideology.
@Stanfordcounty Well it is true when you say that we as religious people subjectively base our life around a universally convincing ideology, given that you as a spectator would enjoy your freedom of speech to the level where you criticise others ideology, as far as Islam is concerned in which you do not believe any ways suggests in the Quran directly from God that says: "Let there be no compulsion in religion"
I am wondering what will you say to criticise this ''secular statement made by God''
Its not a universally convincing ideology, you just think it is.
I enjoy freedom of speech because my ancestors died for it not because of Muhammed, who killed people who disagreed with him. Bit of a "Don't do what I do, do what I say" hypocrisy going on there.
Of course, God didn't say that, because Muhammed wrote the Quran, well, dictated it,
@Stanfordcounty Again God says whether you wanna believe it or not that ''Let there be no compulsion in religion'' Enjoy your life the way you want it to be... that is what God says to you not Muhammad pbuh
@Stanfordcounty you might as well keep ur mouth shut coz everything you say is pure DUMBASSNESS, first there is a diff. between freedom of speech and hate speech, second if you wanna talk about killing ppl, review Christianity's history , you will find the templars to be grade A terrorists , the spanish inquizisions, slavery, witch hunt , BELIEVE WHAT WE SAY or get tortured and killed spread of christinaty , religions are only brain washing that justify murdering ppl
Not my Christian ancesters. The Barrons that wrote the Magna Carta, the reformists, the Wiggs, the Liberal movement during the Victorian period and the Labour movement at the start of the 20th century.
You might want to keep your mouth shut untill you know enough to know what people are talking about. Belief systems of any kind get people killed, as has militant athiesm during the cultural revolution, dumb ass.
@Stanfordcounty LOL yessssss exactly , MORON , you sound like a red neck with the "liberal movement " thingy , maybe you need to grab a history book and review some facts buddy , i hardley believe it was the liberals who called the natives savages and killed em to the brink of extinction ... militant athiesm??? lol have no idea where you got that from...maybe your church preist ?!? lol but ya , pin everyone all together VS religions especially Christianity and you will see who is the bloodiest
Yes, I think you need to read the posts again. I said my ancesters died for the freedom not to be ruled by a warlord, you said christianity has an evil history, I said I was talking about social progressives from throughout British history, you said "exactly".
I hardly believe it was John Stewart Mill shooting the locals in the name of Manifest Destiny.
Militant Athiesm is a common term used to describe fanatical athiests who can't see that its the fanaticism that causes the evil.
@Stanfordcounty there is no such thing as fanatical athiesm , that term is an uneducated term , athiesm is not a religion or a group , we don't hold a weekly prayer bashing , its is simply to be a free thinker on ur own and draw your own conclusion, some one post his or her opinion and u simply agree or disagree mentioning why, you said "ancesters died for the freedom" u mentioned the british occupation but failed to remember the slaying of Native americans by those ancesters themselves
Yes there is, and I think you should be using more grammar if you intend to call other people uneducated. Militant athiesm is a perfectly acceptable phrase, and your linguistic totalitarianism won't change that. Fanaticism does not require a weekly prayer, or a man in a funny hat. Fanaticism is to display very strict standards and little tolerance for contrary ideas or opinions.
That would be because they were French allies. Go have a look at our relations with natives on our side.
@Stanfordcounty you have a point except it doesnt apply to athiests since there is no belief system , we dont have a strict life style/ standards , we have all the tolerance and respct to every human, we believe that all are equal humans, all have the right to chose their beliefs, life style and making their own choices , its just when we get attacked we retaliate back , sometimes in a bad manner, thats human nature , as for the grammar , sorry , dont have enuf letters to use full grammar, sorry
Athiesm does have a belief system, the attatude that their is no God fundementally effects world view. It necessitates a highly materialistic view of how the world works. However your description is actualy of Humanism, not Athiesm. Pol Pot was an Athiest.
Athiesm and free thinking are not the same thing, and the fact that you have constantly mistaken the two as the same gives us a little insight into your cognitive biases.
@Stanfordcounty You do not know me if you think I do not believe we should learn. Until you "investigate" me save it. I teach my children because I love them and they need guidance. It is my job to do so, for the world has enough ignorance. I do not deny that people suffer, pain creates growth whether you have GOD or not.
@Stanfordcounty Research it for yourself. I see that I posted this from my perspective not bias for I was once non-believer as well. GOD is not my coping strategy. I choose to LOVE because it is truth.
I have investigated. What I haven't done is tried some comfy thinking to avoid the problem. God could do all, so pain isn't needed for growth.
You can't get around the issue by saying that pain is good for us. From the God that you believe in pain is meaningless because everything is, was and will be available to him without our anguish.
Maybe you should get up from behind that screen. I can't describe how evil the world is. Go to Rwanda and see mountains of skulls, the piles of childrens shoes as high as a house at Auchswitz. The mass graves in Germany, Burma, Iraq, Scotland, Kosovo. The rows of crosses, stars and cresent moons across France and Belgium. Nothing is worth this.
You go and see the reality of creation, then tell me theres a loving God.
@Stanfordcounty I realised God and the Quran when I came to Britain, here no one is there to force me or persuade me to study but than I started reading the Quran, and there it was in my life all the time and I was never able to grasp it at first but when I did, then onwards I never wanted to offend God again in any way possible...
I understand your feeling that you have 'grown', but in psychological terms you find most people will eventually follow their pairents beliefs. For example, I thought gardening was the most boring thing in the world growing up. Now, through bee keeping, i'm an avid gardener.
Not just in positive things to, addiction to Drugs, violence, racism, all seem to be passed sociologically from pairent to child.
You have been exposed to a very pro-Islamic environment.
@Stanfordcounty I will send you the web site link in your personal mail section from there you can go to the website because this box shows me error message when I try to post it...
@Stanfordcounty And Quran states clearly that it is forever till the day every thing will come to an end and God will start the process of resurrection and question time will begin, it is this time which is the most important time of every body's life... because then onwards it will be life for eternity either in hell or heaven...
By the way what is you belief... you never said anything about your beliefs, what do you believe in???
Yeah, if you read my comments to the other guy, freewill = not really a good argument.
You aren't really getting this. All you are doing is quoting things you subjectively believe as fact. You are being disrespectful in your lack of acceptance to my position, and you cannot keep up this persona of reasonablness without accepting that its a perfectly valid and logical position for someone who does not already believe that your holy book is true to be skeptical.
@Stanfordcounty Again; Islamic view point is not being imposed onto you or anybody else... This is the information which even God suggested would be followed by some and rejected by some. Not every body is going to die a Muslim that is what God says repeatedly in the Quran. So we are not in any way trying to impose the Islamic view point on any one . You can submit to the will of God or you can live by your will.... God created you with free will. Either you submit or you dont... its up to you.
@Stanfordcounty I'm not here to tell you that I am right and you are wrong, I am just telling you that it is up to you whatever makes you happy in life you should follow that but do have a research done on it before you get to know its all on hollow foundations...
What your'e doing on the other hand is hypocritically inform me of what you have been practising all along... Proving that your philosophy is right and mine is quote and unquote ''noting'' !!! words do speak louder I must say!!! Peace!
Yes you are, that is the source of all your smug comments about the Quran. If you weren't telling me that I was wrong you wouldn't have bothered contesting that Muhammad was a murderer.
Your a moron for pretending i'm being hypocritical. I know what would change my mind, what evidence would you ever take that the Quran was not the word of God?
No dancing around calling names, what would you take as evidence that the Quran is not the word of God.
@Stanfordcounty My religion is not a lie and I don't follow a false prophet, I can reason with you from now onwards and I will answer all your questions related to your perception on islam and its last prophetpbuh.. What I want is for every one to go to paradise, you tell me is that so bad to think or ask, the logic is I want every body to be happy in the after world and I dont what them pointing me out on the day of judgement telling God that why I did not warn them when I had the knowledge...
@Stanfordcounty What evidence have you got that the Quran is not the word of God? when you raise one point or more than one point than I will be happy to make the argument.... I believe that the Quran is the word of God for one that it proves to be the word of God other wise I would have believed in any other religion if I were that naive to have a blind faith in the Quran to be the word of God... Peace...
@Stanfordcounty Believe me if we came to reason I am 100 percent sure that you will say it yourself that you believe in my prophet but I am not sure if you will accept Islam because there are hundreds of examples which suggests that people in prophet's pbuh time used to love him but they never reverted to islam when they died because they thought that their previous generations customs and religions were more valuable to them, and those people were not treated badly for not accepting Islam...
Also 'quote unquote "noting"', is, ignoring the mispelling, is a misquote.
I said your beliefs were -meaningless- because you let -nothing- stand against them. I never said your beliefs are nothing. That would be silly, your beliefs are electrical patterns in your brain.
Why give any weight to the views of someone who would hold them no matter what? Wisdom dictates reason, not just sticking your fingers in your ears because you might not like reality.
@Stanfordcounty My religion Islam is Wisdom from God to all its creation particularly the humans and jinns... and it is based on a pure reason of love and harmony... This is not my world to live on, I will die and my results for the other life shall be based on what I do in this life. Our beloved prophet pbuh has said, ''The difference between this world and the hereafter is that of a drop of water against the seas of the world'' Now you tell me if I do anything wrong here I am destined to hell.
Actually, you are right, this should be a discussion. A discussion being a work through of the issues. I've made no attempt to push a world view upon you, so why don't you take down all your Islamic propaganda videos, on an account trying to broadcast as loudly as posible those views and talk though this issue properly. No appeals to authority, no pretence of objective inherent truths to be accepted if you open your eyes. Accept my views as part of the argument.
@Stanfordcounty Islamic view point is not being imposed onto you or anybody else... This is the information which even God suggested would be followed by some and rejected by some... Not every body is going to die a Muslim that is what God says repeatedly in the Quran... So we are not in any way trying to impose the Islamic view point on any one .. You can submit to the will of God or you can live by your will.... God created you with free will.. Either you submit or you dont... its up to you...
And also your "well lots of people are muslim so it must be true" argument ignores that there are 2.1 billion christians and the christian population is also growing.
@Stanfordcounty Again it is true that there are more Christians than Muslims but how is it that now Islam is the most popular religion... Why is Islam the number one religion spreading fast on the globe particularly mostly accepted by women ratio wise... Peace...
Wao I love this advert... Given that there are so many ways one can prove the existence of God, this notion also suggests that people would always find it hard to disprove the existence of God.... Those who have their lame excuses are completely in denial and significantly stupidly think they are the genius of the world...
It happened, it didn't happen, I can't believe it happened. The line of argumentation presented in this portrayal is brilliant. At least the classroom isn't so rigidly pc today.
Unless Einstein actually said it, and his professor was that much of a tool, I see this as an appeal to authority. Its hardly unheard of for people to use Einstien's name to push one agenda or anouther.
The argument falls foul of the question of freewill, but people overlook that, because Einstien said it.
@Stanfordcounty Great. Let's "overlook" appeals to the authority (thankfully, no educational setting abuses authority today) in the classroom , the teacher, Einstein, ad nauseam: Where does this very reasonable argumental model fall foul of free will?
It requires free will to be true. However we live in a determanist universe, and thus an all knowing creater God would ultimately be responcible for all the events that ever happened in that universe. So the line of argument that evil is a deprivation of good would not absolve God from responcibility.
At best it could be used to prove God isn't totaly evil, but nothing more.
@michiganois No, whats happened is i've looked at an argument thats basic premis is logic, and found it lacking. Alas, ironically you have been conditioned to believe in freewill, a product of the causality of the universe.
If we had absolute freedom, then our actions would not be linked to their consequences, even getting about day to day requires the considered manipulation of the laws of causality, and we are also a product of those laws.
Look child, being smug might make you look good to whatever pond life you usually talk at, but it doesn't cut with me. The argument doesn't work, no serious theologian attempting to use logic to prove God would use it, its only still circulated because it used to be a Catholic dogma. There are a universe of better arguments.
If your type still had their way we'd still think the Sun orbited the Earth.
@Stanfordcounty God proves in the Quran that Sun also is in orbit, not that I am suggesting in any way that it orbits around the earth but where you people have gone wrong is never took a close look at the true word of God... May God bless us all with guidance so that we could end up having salvation in this world and after.... Amen..
The Quran says a lot of things. The "true word of God" also preaches violence towards Jews and christians. It is demanding and marginalising to its followers, and uses the promise of salvation to manipulate society and hold back freedom.
Why should anyone believe some desert scroll written by a mass murderer? Life has been a lot nicer since we stopped listening to lunatics. The Quran says what you want it to say.
@Stanfordcounty I am deeply appalled by your comment. Since you talk so much about the existence of God in such a philosophical way, how come you could not grasp the philosophy of Quran... Had you grasped you would not have made your point by suggesting that we Muslim encourage mass killings and particularity of those Christians and Jews about which the very Quran clearly states ''these are the people of the book, show logic to them so that they understand the final testament called the Quran...
You stated the superiority of your beliefs over others, comming from a book written by a man who enslaved and murdered whole tribes.
Augustine was a philosopher, I treat him as such. Muhammed was a war lord, I treat him as such. The Quran is worthless without a moral writer, without one it seems more the work of psychology and power mongering.
@Stanfordcounty Yeah! why don't you tell that to the American-Jewish writer called Michael H. Hart who wrote the book called ''The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History'' where he puts prophet Muhammad pbuh on number 1... than come back here and tell me who was who and what is what, because now I realise that you lack sense of logic and to even indulge myself with such a person with the likes of your biased philosophy would be an insult to mine and others likewise... Peace!!!
Influence does not mean devinity, nor does it mean posivity.
You cannot place and appeal to authority next to an attack on objectivity, your attack on my logic is not only a failure, it highlights your own cognitive bias.
@Stanfordcounty And the list goes on... Need I mention any body else, but than again you already have your narrow mind fixated at the unlettered biased notion that the prophet of Islam was a mass murderer... What a petty and waste of human brain... Alas... and unfortunate for you mr. stanford...
He was a murderer, he killed people for power and enslaved tribes. He layed the foundation for an Arab empire. These are all facts. Hitler created a similar mythology when he tried to conquer Europe.
@Stanfordcounty Yeah that explains why Michael H. Hart mentions the prophet on number one and Hitler the same type of ruler or dictator ''according to you'' is the most uninfluencial person of all times. What a logic!!! BRAVO you've hit the jackpot!!! Congratulations... and keep telling yourself that, till the time you grow up and realise that he was nothing of the sort what you described, If you want to be proven wrong just give me a message and I'll show the proof that you are highly mistaken
I say Muhammad murdered people, and your answer is "oh well this man thinks that he had lots of influence". Great, so what?
Muhammad was corrupted, its simple. The man who ruled with a sword in Medina was not the prophet of Mecca. I find it hard to see how the messenger of an all powerful all loving God would be so corrupted by power.
@Stanfordcounty WHAAATTTT!!! Please don't mind me asking this but ARE U 12 !
You surely know how to manipulate a whole logical discussion into a childish one.
Read Chapter 10 in the Quran, It is all about you mr. stanford, that is my perfect reply to you.
By the way the whole Quran is the word of God not prophet Muhammad pbuh. so when you start reading the Chapter 10 as I mentioned, don't for a second think that it is the lier speaking because all you inadvertently say, means ''GOD is a lier''.
No, i'm not 12. The ad hominem attack makes me think you may be though.
Its hardly childish to notice that the man who valued Jews and Christians as "people of the book" in Mecca was killing them when he became an emperor in Medina. His attatude changed vastly, even stating Allah would convert those who had been forced to submit to the sword. Power, he got power and became a tyrant.
Quoting the Quran won't change that. They aren't the actions of a holy man.
@Stanfordcounty First of all mr. stanford get your facts right!!! I can understand why you think that the people of the book were killed but not because he was a tyrant or anything which your naive mind see fit to title the prophet pbuh but because the jews violated their treaty with the muslims.. they betrayed the muslims after ensuring them that they will support the muslims in the conflict, any nation would do that even today to execute its traitors... its nothing new...
We don't execute anyone, and we aren't even pretending to be a religion of peace.
Ah, so these traitorous women and children, from the Jewish tribe he enslaved after he'd killed the men, actually deserved to have no freedom. As always the muslim involved (the one who wrote the account you believe) was totally justified in his benevolent slaughtering and pilaging. Well thats settled then, if the Quran says he was nice it must be true!!!!1
@Stanfordcounty Having said that you need to first of all read the whole life of the prophet pbuh than just use the hear say knowledge about him... I can bet if you read the profile I'm more than sure you will start to like his personality if not revert to Islam... Peace... :)
I didn't need to read the whole life of Hitler to find the final solution a little bit of a totally life defining evil moral act. Similarly, any act of gross evil by anyone else is pretty much proof they aren't of the same ilk as Jesus was. I have to say, wilst being skeptical about the miracles i'm pretty sure he didn't even kill the people who did him wrong. Its all the 'do to others as you would have done to you' stuff. Its a real break away from all the smiteing.
@Stanfordcounty Had you given a slightest glance to the book written by the American Jewish writer which I have mentioned to you so many times you would have found out that prophet Jesus pbuh is mentioned number 3rd in that list where prophet muhammad pbuh is mentioned 1st... Apart from that where you have doubts about jesus miracles as a Christian I presume well as a Muslim I believe in those miracles as I believe I was born from my mother... See the difference between you and me... Peace...
Listen, a book on historical influence doesn't prove anything. Its firstly based on opinion, and secondly is a book on influence, not divinity. Mohammad is influencial precisely because he was a warlord. Its childish to keep mentioning this obviously irrelivent information you are clinging to.
@Stanfordcounty Quran is the word of God not prophet muhammad pbuh... Not even one single alphabet was put in the Quran from him but what was revealed to him through the Angel Gibreal... So it is the truth because God of Abraham, moses, jesus and muhammad peace be on all of them never lies... God is the truth.... He has made it clear to the people of the book so many times in the Quran to follow the final testament which can never be changed as changes took place in the bible and torah... Peace
You think the Quran is the word of God because someone has told you it is. You have blind faith in a illogical concept and you clearly have a deep emotional attachment to that faith that stops you from making any sence.
The idea of a book written by God in arabic is too limiting for it to be true. Mohammad clearly wrote it from his beliefs.
I'm sorry, but you clearly aren't up to my level and this convosation is just irritating, its not really a true engagement of minds.
@Stanfordcounty It shows how pathetically you insult your own intelligence by suggesting to me that a video would convert you to Islam, where as on the contrary I am providing you with solid evidence as to what Islam is... Stop insulting yourself by saying that the Quran is written by prophet pbuh and that he was a warlord because all you are saying is wrong and you would never have solid proof to prove your point where as I have... Peace
If you weren't trying to change my attatude towards Islam you would not have sent the video. Its fairly obvious that was an attempt to 'make me see the light', which is an attempt at conversion. No number of ad hominem attacks will change that.
Your video had little to do with the nature of islam, and was more sociology. This does not change the fact that Mohammad conquered by force a huge empire. The Quran was a book written by his wife, dictated by him.
@Stanfordcounty Where is this info coming from that the prophet pbuh dictated and the wife pbuh wrote... that is wrong for one and 2ndly it was not the prophet pbuh who dictated or suggested the verses in the quran, it is the pure word of God nothing has been added or removed from it... please try to understand that.... once we have established that than we can talk about whos lieing ... and whos not... Peace
@Stanfordcounty Were I to convert you I would have adopted the same pattern with with prophet pbuh approached the non believers which to this point I have not done...
Shows how much you know about Islam and the prophet... hah Peace! :)
@Stanfordcounty Quran is the word of God not because I have a blind faith in it minion of anti christ but because it has proven itself to be the word of God... Blind faith is no faith and Islam is no where near to that effect... otherwise it would not be the way of life of 1.6 billion people around the world and in USA alone there are 20 thousand converting to islam every year... Talk about blind faith... You are 12... I bet your brain is... Peace :)
@Stanfordcounty Tell me some thing mr. stanfordcounty why are you personally threatened by me I mean after all we are have a very natural discussion, than why would you jump at the conclusion that I'm trying to convert you... Don't you want to be above all this and try to make a sensible comment while you learn about the Islamic teachings which to be honest with you had you known you would not have me the derogatory comments that you have made so far without logic and proof... from Quran...
We weren't having a natural discussion. I attacked early Islam as the cult of a militarist, and you have attempted to present your indoctrinated faith in a book that he wrote, as proof otherwise. Your idea of a sensible comment is anything that agrees with you, which excuses your undoctored ramblings about books on influence and circular proofs.
The fact that there are different sects of Islam shows the subjectivity of Quranic interpritation, teach me which one?
@Stanfordcounty There will be 72 sects in Islam at the time when the world will come to an end and than afterwards resurrection would occur.... and this info was given to the muslims by the prophet pbuh again who got it from God.... You have to remember that the prophet is just a messenger from God and the messenger of God never creates or adds or removes anything from the message of God so please don't blame the prophet pbuh blame the Source... Peace...
This video is a lie. Albert Einstein did not have this conversation at all, and in fact did not believe in a personal god.
His words: "The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this."
If you don't believe me, you can research it for yourself and find out.
He was not an Atheist, but a Deist. So what. This is a discussion. Albert Einstein was not a Serbian Orthodox Christian. He was a typical Jewish irreligious person, secularized and disappointed by Rabbinic superstition and lack of Messiah. Again, most leading scientists were theists or even priests. I mention only Msgr. Georges Lemaître or Nicolaus Copernicus. Louis Pasteur was a pious Catholic, anti-atheist! Georg Mendel, a German-Moravian monk, father of modern genetics.
This video shows a false myth surrounding Einstein's beliefs. There is NO documentation of him ever having said what was in the video.
Sammo1357 2 months ago

Can you prove in a laboratory beyond any reasonable doubt that God does not exist?
doxa54 1 year ago
@doxa54
I can't prove that God doesn't exist, but that doesn't make the belief he doesn't a religion.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Kr8or: U say "atheism is not a religion". Maybe, if all u call religion is pple gathering 4 liturgical worship. But d truth is, atheism is just as much a belief system hence a religion as Christianity is. Christians believe dat God DOES exist; atheists believe 100% dat God DOES NOT exist. Each on d basis of their held beliefs make scientific assumptions & make moral evaluations. Unless u ve all evidence, how can u b sure your conclusion is correct? It comes down 2 what u believe, your religion!

Atheism isn't a religion. Its a belief system and in the case of this boy, an ideology.
Faith and religion are not the same thing.

@Stanfordcounty HAHHAAHAHHAH MISTAKEEEEE , Athiesm is not a belief system , stop listenin to ur priest, i am an athiest and i am telling you, there is no system to what we believe in or dont believe in for that matter, each one of us has his own unique way of drawing conclusions
kr8or 1 year ago
@kr8or
Kiddo, so far you've thought I was American, a redneck and a Christian.

@doxa54 athiesm is not a religion, religion is defined as a group of worshipers who worshipe what they concider a god, gods, ortheir creator , athiests dont belive in a creator, godnor gods , they dont go have meetings to talk about how to live their lives or worship who created us, at most a small gathering to discuss new discoveries or share opinions

what a load of crap and i quote " Evil is what happens when mn doesnt have God's Love" so all these ppl who love "god" and lost their kids to sickness or wars or accidents !!!1 where was God's love to them, and then again isnt "god's" love unconditional ??? and also is Evil is the result of God's Absence ...then that proves either god plays fav and decide to show up in places and not in others (not a fair god) or he cant control the evil in that place (not allmighty)

I didn't ask you why you believe in it, I asked if there is anything you would ever take as evidence it was wrong.
Its a simple question, answer it. Then i'll happily tell you why I don't think the Quran is the word of God.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty This is you answer which I am repeatedly going to give you... ''There is nothing wrong in the Quran which might in any way suggest that it is not the final word of God''. Now you tell me, what is it that suggests to you that it is not!?!?!
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Thats not an answer, you are dodging the question.
Would you ever take any evidence that the Quran was not the word of God?
Its not even a specific question, its just a general point of principle. Would you hold your beliefs no matter what?
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty I believe I answered my question when I stated that you prove me that the Quran is not the word of God... I think that the basic fundamentals of Islam is to follow what is ''true'', If it is the truth what you offer I will not hesitate one bit to follow your stated truth cause all I want is to reach God's heart and tell Him how much I am thankful to Him for giving me a chance to prove myself in this world as a good human being and not the follower of Lucifer the Satin... Peace...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Yes, this is the problem isn't it. You hold the fundamental principles of Islam to be true because Islam tells you it is true. So to avoid the circular logic, I ask you once again, are you open to the posiblility that islam is not true?
Its a simple question, please answer it straight this time.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty I can not comprehend how to tell you this again and again, Regardless of the fundamentals of Islam, If you show me some thing better than Islam, of course I will be more than willing to believe what you believe in, which on other words very clearly tells you that yes I will begin to believe Islam is a false religion once you tell me that assures me that Islam can be wrong... Simple and easy... I am seeking truth, so show it to me if you can please.... Peace... :)
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty No it's not logic, its more to do with proofs and the things which God says in it are really true according to the western scientists... and the fact that I have seen miracles done by it.
You see Islam proves itself and tells every one not to have a blind faith in it but to realise that what it is saying is or can be proven 100 percent correct.
It is to be noted that the prophet was only the person who would write or memorise the verses mentioned by God through angel Gabriel
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Clarify.
What proof do you take which is not based on logic?
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Well there are verses in the Quran which talks about two streams of seas which do not mix until a point but both are parallel, they discovered it now,
it also states that the pharo of Ejypt shall be recovered as if he were dead a few days ago, they found the body in the early 1900s... also that the earth has 7 layers of protected blankets the Quran states that 1400 yrs ago, also that it extensively talks about embryology in great detail and the scientists discovered it just now
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty And its says clearly that it is a source of guidance for those who realise that it is from God... and there are so many other things that I can go on and on and on about and it will in itself mesmerise you...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Ok, well I hope you understand why I don't accept that 'the Quran is true because it says it is.'
So this is an argument over logic, the logical consistancy. You find the world and the Quran consistant? Yes?
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty What does that suppose to mean... Please clarify...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty I don't find it to be consistent because of which I believe in it, you can not just summarise it and pack it in a box and say well there you go, no its not like that, its much deeper than that... Consistency is for those who seek the truth, there are some who don't even know what the Quran states but still they are muslims, I say what good is that, one has to feel what God says to his creation to believe in him...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
If you do accept logic we can continue
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Logic is reasoning and Quran reasons as well as shows proofs...
Believe you me, I have been born in a muslim family but personally I had well I still have western ideas of my life since I was so inspired by the western way of life, it is when I started reading the Quran that I started praying 5 times a day, before this I was like a so called muslim, who had beliefs but never knew what the Quran is saying and what Islam is all about...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
I can't say i'm swayed either way theologically, neither side knows anything when it comes down to it
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty That is a very good question indeed I must say.... But I want to shed some light on my family first... My parents prayed 5 times a day when I was growing up with them, they did time and again persuaded me to pray because it is mandatory but I was never stuck to praying 5 times a day, I was happy the way I was, Infact I was at times angry with God thinking why would He even give me life in this life to prove myself to enter paradise in the after life... But I was naive and wrong.
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
And your defence of an all loving, all powerful, all knowing God, who allows evil in the world is?
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Well religious people would have a way better answer than what I am going to say but still I would say it any ways... I think to which God allows me wisdom to seek his knowledge as to why evil is allowed is: God sees every thing and through Quran HE clearly shows us how to act to balance between right and wrong and that is what HE requires from us... and for that reason even though the world is perfect as it is but still evil will prevail as long as God lets it to prevail...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Which in other words mean, that God has given every living thing which has intelligence to know God's existence but still some strongly refute that notion and some do believe in God as if they have seen HIM personally. But it is also to be noted that God clearly states that either you believe in ME or not, it does not in any way benefits ME... but also that every thing will be clear to mankind once the resurrection day arrives then those will be in shame who rejected HIM.
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty So evil will prevail as long as every thing is living on this planet earth and we as Muslims have to persevere through it....
If my islamic culture was that influential how come I came close to God when I am living in an environment where people or openly atheists, agnostics and so many other things, why Islam is the Question... You have to keep in mind I was once angry with God.... :)
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Its not really an answer though is it.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty GOD gave us the choice to sin, we picked it for the most part. Would you help your children if they chose to ignore your teaching and not love you? If they ignored your "law" would you not let them suffer for their actions. If you live you life in righteousness HE will protect you from all harm. To be righteous is very hard, it takes constant vigilance, study, and prayer. Peace.
anyonefindAMERICA 1 year ago
@anyonefindAMERICA
Thats a poor anthropamophic metaphore.
You believe God can do anything, therefore we don't need to learn.
Parents teach children because we are subject to the laws of causality, the God you believe in isn't. The religious suffer, you can deny it all you like, but labeling it 'a test' is nothing more than a coping stratagy.
Do you even see the congintive bias of your post?
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty God says repeatedly in the Quran, those who believe in me because they do, do they for a second think I (GOD) AM not going to test them.... Surely they will be tested the most and hardest.... so any religious person suffering hard only means that God knows that that person shall prevail through it and come out a person with salvation, eternal salvation... and also God says in the Quran that I only burden those whom I test to the level they can bear or tolerate...
PEACE... :)
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Well it is true when you say that we as religious people subjectively base our life around a universally convincing ideology, given that you as a spectator would enjoy your freedom of speech to the level where you criticise others ideology, as far as Islam is concerned in which you do not believe any ways suggests in the Quran directly from God that says: "Let there be no compulsion in religion"
I am wondering what will you say to criticise this ''secular statement made by God''
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Its not a universally convincing ideology, you just think it is.
I enjoy freedom of speech because my ancestors died for it not because of Muhammed, who killed people who disagreed with him. Bit of a "Don't do what I do, do what I say" hypocrisy going on there.
Of course, God didn't say that, because Muhammed wrote the Quran, well, dictated it,
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Again God says whether you wanna believe it or not that ''Let there be no compulsion in religion'' Enjoy your life the way you want it to be... that is what God says to you not Muhammad pbuh

Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty there is no such thing as fanatical athiesm , that term is an uneducated term , athiesm is not a religion or a group , we don't hold a weekly prayer bashing , its is simply to be a free thinker on ur own and draw your own conclusion, some one post his or her opinion and u simply agree or disagree mentioning why, you said "ancesters died for the freedom" u mentioned the british occupation but failed to remember the slaying of Native americans by those ancesters themselves
kr8or 1 year ago
@kr8or
Yes there is, and I think you should be using more grammar if you intend to call other people uneducated.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty you have a point except it doesnt apply to athiests since there is no belief system , we dont have a strict life style/ standards , we have all the tolerance and respct to every human, we believe that all are equal humans, all have the right to chose their beliefs, life style and making their own choices , its just when we get attacked we retaliate back , sometimes in a bad manner, thats human nature , as for the grammar , sorry , dont have enuf letters to use full grammar, sorry

No, Humanists believe in tolerance and respect. Athiests believe there is no God.

I think you are mistaking Athiesm for free thinking.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@kr8or
Athiesm does have a belief system, the attatude that their is no God fundementally effects world view.

You can't get around the issue by saying that pain is good for us. From the God that you believe in pain is meaningless because everything is, was and will be available to him without our anguish.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Have you ever known or believed in GOD?
anyonefindAMERICA 1 year ago
@anyonefindAMERICA
I believed in it as a child.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty I realised God and the Quran when I came to Britain, here no one is there to force me or persuade me to study but than I started reading the Quran, and there it was in my life all the time and I was never able to grasp it at first but when I did, then onwards I never wanted to offend God again in any way possible...

@MrBeautifuluniverse

By the way what is you belief... you never said anything about your beliefs, what do you believe in???
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
Yeah, if you read my comments to the other guy, freewill = not really a good argument.
You aren't really getting this. All you are doing is quoting things you subjectively believe as fact. You are being disrespectful in your lack of acceptance to my position, and you cannot keep up this persona of reasonablness without accepting that its a perfectly valid and logical position for someone who does not already believe that your holy book is true to be skeptical.
Islam is not a tautology.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Again; Islamic view point is not being imposed onto you or anybody else... This is the information which even God suggested would be followed by some and rejected by some. Not every body is going to die a Muslim that is what God says repeatedly in the Quran. So we are not in any way trying to impose the Islamic view point on any one . You can submit to the will of God or you can live by your will.... God created you with free will. Either you submit or you dont... its up to you.

Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty My religion is not a lie and I don't follow a false prophet, I can reason with you from now onwards and I will answer all your questions related to your perception on islam and its last prophetpbuh..

Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty My religion Islam is Wisdom from God to all its creation particularly the humans and jinns... and it is based on a pure reason of love and harmony... This is not my world to live on, I will die and my results for the other life shall be based on what I do in this life. Our beloved prophet pbuh has said, ''The difference between this world and the hereafter is that of a drop of water against the seas of the world'' Now you tell me if I do anything wrong here I am destined to hell.
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
Actually, you are right, this should be a discussion. A discussion being a work through of the issues. I've made no attempt to push a world view upon you, so why don't you take down all your Islamic propaganda videos, on an account trying to broadcast as loudly as posible those views and talk though this issue properly. No appeals to authority, no pretence of objective inherent truths to be accepted if you open your eyes. Accept my views as part of the argument.
Come and actually talk.

Actually, evil as a deprivation of good is a famous theodicy from the third century.
St. Augustine. I think that professor in the video is a bit of a strawman.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty The illustration is sound and obvious as is its reasonableness.
michiganois 1 year ago
@michiganois
Unless Einstein actually said it, and his professor was that much of a tool, I see this as an appeal to authority. Its hardly unheard of for people to use Einstien's name to push one agenda or anouther.
The argument falls foul of the question of freewill, but people overlook that, because Einstien said it.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Great. Let's "overlook" appeals to the authority (thankfully, no educational setting abuses authority today) in the classroom , the teacher, Einstein, ad nauseam: Where does this very reasonable argumental model fall foul of free will?
michiganois 1 year ago
@michiganois
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Your willingness to remain a determinist, as you do so choose, does result from the undeniable model of freedom exemplified. Alas.
michiganois 1 year ago
@michiganois No, whats happened is i've looked at an argument thats basic premis is logic, and found it lacking. Alas, ironically you have been conditioned to believe in freewill, a product of the causality of the universe.
If we had absolute freedom, then our actions would not be linked to their consequences, even getting about day to day requires the considered manipulation of the laws of causality, and we are also a product of those laws.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty You haven't looked for or found anything...Best of luck with your culturally-conditioned Relativism!
michiganois 1 year ago
@michiganois
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty God proves in the Quran that Sun also is in orbit, not that I am suggesting in any way that it orbits around the earth but where you people have gone wrong is never took a close look at the true word of God... May God bless us all with guidance so that we could end up having salvation in this world and after.... Amen..
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty I am deeply appalled by your comment. Since you talk so much about the existence of God in such a philosophical way, how come you could not grasp the philosophy of Quran... Had you grasped you would not have made your point by suggesting that we Muslim encourage mass killings and particularity of those Christians and Jews about which the very Quran clearly states ''these are the people of the book, show logic to them so that they understand the final testament called the Quran...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Yeah! why don't you tell that to the American-Jewish writer called Michael H. Hart who wrote the book called ''The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History'' where he puts prophet Muhammad pbuh on number 1... than come back here and tell me who was who and what is what, because now I realise that you lack sense of logic and to even indulge myself with such a person with the likes of your biased philosophy would be an insult to mine and others likewise... Peace!!!
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Influence does not mean devinity, nor does it mean posivity.
You cannot place and appeal to authority next to an attack on objectivity, your attack on my logic is not only a failure, it highlights your own cognitive bias.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty And the list goes on... Need I mention any body else, but than again you already have your narrow mind fixated at the unlettered biased notion that the prophet of Islam was a mass murderer... What a petty and waste of human brain... Alas... and unfortunate for you mr. stanford...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
He was a murderer, he killed people for power and enslaved tribes. He layed the foundation for an Arab empire. These are all facts. Hitler created a similar mythology when he tried to conquer Europe.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Yeah that explains why Michael H. Hart mentions the prophet on number one and Hitler the same type of ruler or dictator ''according to you'' is the most uninfluencial person of all times. What a logic!!! BRAVO you've hit the jackpot!!! Congratulations... and keep telling yourself that, till the time you grow up and realise that he was nothing of the sort what you described, If you want to be proven wrong just give me a message and I'll show the proof that you are highly mistaken
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
You're incoherent. How is influence relivent?
I say Muhammad murdered people, and your answer is "oh well this man thinks that he had lots of influence". Great, so what?
Muhammad was corrupted, its simple. The man who ruled with a sword in Medina was not the prophet of Mecca. I find it hard to see how the messenger of an all powerful all loving God would be so corrupted by power.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Also, Hitler was the most uninfluencial person of all times?
I think you need to stop listening to that guy.
You're just giving an emotional reaction to someone challenging your beliefs. Leave it a day then come back, it'll be a better argument all round.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty WHAAATTTT!!! Please don't mind me asking this but ARE U 12 !
You surely know how to manipulate a whole logical discussion into a childish one.
Read Chapter 10 in the Quran, It is all about you mr. stanford, that is my perfect reply to you.
By the way the whole Quran is the word of God not prophet Muhammad pbuh. so when you start reading the Chapter 10 as I mentioned, don't for a second think that it is the lier speaking because all you inadvertently say, means ''GOD is a lier''.
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty First of all mr. stanford get your facts right!!! I can understand why you think that the people of the book were killed but not because he was a tyrant or anything which your naive mind see fit to title the prophet pbuh but because the jews violated their treaty with the muslims.. they betrayed the muslims after ensuring them that they will support the muslims in the conflict, any nation would do that even today to execute its traitors... its nothing new...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Having said that you need to first of all read the whole life of the prophet pbuh than just use the hear say knowledge about him... I can bet if you read the profile I'm more than sure you will start to like his personality if not revert to Islam... Peace... :)
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Had you given a slightest glance to the book written by the American Jewish writer which I have mentioned to you so many times you would have found out that prophet Jesus pbuh is mentioned number 3rd in that list where prophet muhammad pbuh is mentioned 1st... Apart from that where you have doubts about jesus miracles as a Christian I presume well as a Muslim I believe in those miracles as I believe I was born from my mother... See the difference between you and me... Peace...
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Listen, a book on historical influence doesn't prove anything. Its firstly based on opinion, and secondly is a book on influence, not divinity. Mohammad is influencial precisely because he was a warlord. Its childish to keep mentioning this obviously irrelivent information you are clinging to.
No, i'm not a Christian.
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Quran is the word of God not prophet muhammad pbuh... Not even one single alphabet was put in the Quran from him but what was revealed to him through the Angel Gibreal... So it is the truth because God of Abraham, moses, jesus and muhammad peace be on all of them never lies... God is the truth.... He has made it clear to the people of the book so many times in the Quran to follow the final testament which can never be changed as changes took place in the bible and torah... Peace
MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse

Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty Where is this info coming from that the prophet pbuh dictated and the wife pbuh wrote... that is wrong for one and 2ndly it was not the prophet pbuh who dictated or suggested the verses in the quran, it is the pure word of God nothing has been added or removed from it... please try to understand that.... once we have established that than we can talk about whos lieing ... and whos not... MrBeautifuluniverse 1 year ago
@MrBeautifuluniverse
Stanfordcounty 1 year ago
@Stanfordcounty There will be 72 sects in Islam at the time when the world will come to an end and than afterwards resurrection would occur.... and this info was given to the muslims by the prophet pbuh again who got it from God....
Fyrebrand666 2 years ago
He was not an Atheist, but a Deist. So what. This is a discussion. Albert Einstein was not a Serbian Orthodox Christian. He was a typical Jewish irreligious person, secularized and disappointed by Rabbinic superstition and lack of Messiah. Again, most leading scientists were theists or even priests. I mention only Msgr. Georges Lemaître or Nicolaus Copernicus. Louis Pasteur was a pious Catholic, anti-atheist! Georg Mendel, a German-Moravian monk, father of modern genetics.
