I have NEVER defended a criminal. However, even if someone is a criminal, police use of excessive force is never acceptable (I am not referring to this video in particular.) Mistreated suspects, whether guilty or not, will probably vent their rage over their mistreatment on innocent people. I vent my such rage on the Internet by trashing all cops, often unjustifiably. I regret having posted over 90% of my inflammatory anti-cop comments, but they were all motivated by police misconduct.

My rage about my mistreatment has also been vented in a passive-aggressive way many times. For example, I could have extinguished a tiny house fire caused by illegal fireworks but chose to do nothing because I believed that the cops would try to frame me for arson. The tiny fire quickly engulfed the entire house and possibly injured or killed someone. Had I not been previously feloniously dealt with by cops, I would have used my car's fire extinguisher to douse the fire in seconds.
As this video graphically evidences, Philadelphia police officers are trained to deliberately provoke, enrage and antagonize civilians in order to have an excuse to dominate, arrest and otherwise control them, as well as employ torture toys (such as tasers and batons) against them. Judging by cops' aforementioned behavior as well as their exaggerated physiques, cops seem to be more concerned about flexing both their metaphorical and literal muscles of power than about upholding laws.

They run DUI check points and use them as way to generate revenue. We must shed light and stand up to the police wherever they do wrong. It's nice to see that SOB got what was coming to him.

@pdst3 It isn't because of the DUI checkpoint per say. The cops in my town also use them to generate revenue. Any motor vehicle violations should be given a warning but they are given citations not fix it tickets. Some of the cars are also searched through intimidation. This is what I'm against.

At 0:59 patrol car pulls up (on the right), suspect to be transported. Suspect put in vehicle at 1:11. Suspect begins kicking window from about 1:16 to 1:24, hence the patrolman's quick return to the vehicle. (This would not be necessary otherwise, as suspect already secured.) Suspect pulled out at 1:30 and walked to waiting van (cage)

As far as getting shot goes, I don't know that their is adequate compensation for that, but I can say the same thing about a lot of other trades too. I have NEVER defended a criminal. However, even if someone is a criminal, police use of excessive force is never acceptable (I am not referring to this video in particular.) Mistreated suspects, whether guilty or not, will probably vent their rage over their mistreatment on innocent people. I vent my such rage on the Internet by trashing all cops, often unjustifiably. My rage about my mistreatment has also been vented in a passive-aggressive way many times. For example, I could have extinguished a tiny house fire caused by illegal fireworks but chose to do nothing because I believed that the cops would try to frame me for arson. The tiny fire quickly engulfed the entire house and possibly injured or killed someone. Had I not been previously feloniously dealt with by cops, I would have used my car's fire extinguisher to douse the fire in seconds.

@pdst3 It isn't because of the DUI checkpoint per say. The cops in my town also use them to generate revenue. Any motor vehicle violations should be given a warning but they are given citations not fix it tickets. Some of the cars are also searched through intimidation. This is what I'm against.

@lukasewing You can't see the actual kicking of the window because the cameraman is too far away and not on the right angle. But it's still self-explanatory. At 0:59 patrol car pulls up (on the right), suspect to be transported. Suspect put in vehicle at 1:11. Suspect begins kicking window from about 1:16 to 1:24, hence the patrolman's quick return to the vehicle. (This would not be necessary otherwise, as suspect already secured.) Suspect pulled out at 1:30 and walked to waiting van (cage)

@Mark99751 Also, I am implying no conspiracy. You are claiming that what I saw and heard from the video is objectively false. For you to make this claim, you either need some information from the video that I overlooked, or some information from an outside source. This is where the assumption of an outside source came from. Either way, you need to back up your claim about the situation rather than just stating "that's what happened".

Nobody guaranteed them reverance, respect and subservience. If a cop cant function with some background noise, then he or she has no business being a cop. Do you work for the police union or what?

@rrhynes How the heck is 50K well paid for getting shot? Philly VERY underpaid compared to NYC and the suburbs. Salary/benefits should be doubled at a minimum. And there's a difference between 'background noise' and downright disgraceful, sub-human, inexcusable citizen conduct that reflects inciting a riot. The camera person could/should have been arrested for disorderly conduct. When Philly citizens start showing some respect for police/each other, things would change literally overnight.

@Mark99751 Even if I agreed with every word you said, the cop still fucked up when he started hitting the guy in the backseat. That is inexcusable, unprofessional and criminal. As far as getting shot goes, I don't know that their is adequate compensation for that, but I can say the same thing about a lot of other trades too. More people , by percentage of the related workforce, are killed in construction than in law enforcement. The whole issue of pay is without merit. They know the pay scale.

@rrhynes Sir, there was no beating! In fact at about 1:15, you hear a woman shout "he's hittin em while SHES in da backseat of da fuckin car." She was so pre-meditated in making something up, she actually figured yelling "SHE'S getting hit," would cause further disruption and make citizens even more hostile that some phantom female was getting hit! Obviously these folks have no credibility, but even more sadly, they're just lost causes who will continue to cycle in and out of the system.

I would like you to provide proof this officer is no longer employed, either through documents or a news story related to such incident. You are liars to suggest such. Absolutely no laws were broken on seen video. Subject was attempting to kick out window of patrol car once arrested. Subject was then transferred (with force) to a waiting police van where no damage could be caused. This video shows no police wrongdoing of any kind (except) foul language.

But I don't think wrongfully accusing is fair at all either, for anybody, in any profession. These cops are supposed to "serve" their community. Respect given=respect earned. Again force was used, because the suspect was being extremely combative, which is justified in such a case. As far as a possible punch while suspect is in backseat, that is probably not justified, but a taser would have been. Not sure if they have these in Philly. Camera is too far away to see specifics, but I guarantee 100% nobody was fired in this incident.
