I've played tekken since the very first 1 and tekken 6 is true bullshit vf5 is better in my eyes im not sayin its better then tekken just better then 6 this game is so underrated in the uk though
i dont understand why people r arguing whos better? even though tekken is a more noticable game, virtua fighter is a true fighting game. I played both games and Tekkens fighting styles r not comparable to virtua fighters. and the online play is for virtua fighter is waaaaaaaay better than tekkens (cuz the people who play online are such noobs its not a joke, its like mw2 with noobtubing). all im saying is that virtua fighter is a better fighting game because its more real than tekkens engine...
Man there are way too many fantards for both of these franchises. Both the Tekken series and the VF games are solid fighters and both deserve the recognition they deserve. That being said both have their issues with them. Tekken has high level play but unless you're in the pro circuit it's full of button mashers. VF has little flash or style due to its "realism" so the game is less combo focused and more about pokes and priority on attacks.
They're both good, now can everyone shut up about it?

I play Tekken and will try to play VF, but I can say that Tekken isn't all about juggles, but it is also about mindgames and spacing. Besides, reading your other comment below this one, I go to see matches and you see pros throw out a lot of the same moves, and rarely low attacks, and most moves they do are launchers. Too much emphasis on juggling. For a game that has sidestepping, rising attacks, and other moves, there is little emphasis on moves that don't have to juggle. You flip flop between logical comments and straight bias.

Juggles aren't that easy, but seven hits are a lot easier in Tekken than VF, which is one example of Tekken using more emphasis on juggling than other 3D fighters. Yeah, it takes skill, but as much as VF. Kids can have a great time playing it among themselves.....more than the other 2 because lets be honest here T6 looks the best of them all. The pros also have a really good time. Popularity doesn't equal better, assuming better = more skilled require, since games can attract people that want something simple. The hard thing about Tekken is juggling damage over 50-70 and that the game has no buffering. It kinda forces you to use a stick to do moves quickly. Other than that, it lacks technicality, even though it does almost the same amount of stuff VF does, but with less substance.

right left+ p+g (then) left left p+k left left p+k (for double bounce)(and then) ppkk (for air combo)
left left+down down down+right right+p (then) k+g (while kage standing up)(hold)(then) right+p(for turning to the enemys face)ppk(for combo)
the second one gets 83 life points ou of the enemy

@mitchx69 It's harder to do. Not sure if every character has it. I only know a few moves that actually do it since a robust tips video doesn't seem to exist.
