what are you talking about. last time north korea tested a missile they sent it eastward to see how far it would go. it failed, but if it had worked it could have gone anywhere, this missile was supposed to reach "the west coast of the united states". which would be considered america... and according to the japanese government this test also failed, landing in the pacific ocean. they finally got over japan! if it were a satelite test why would they keep sending it towards japan and the US?

The USA has known about the building of this launch pad for a significant amount of time.
The problem with N Korea is because it already has a huge number of the missles pointing at S Korea and Japan. So if the USA was to attack this one missle pad, it could cause hundreds of thousands of deaths, in a military response by N Korea.
That is why military action was not taken against N Korea earlier.
