btw, This's Epoch here, 43wa713 is my Radio Call sign & I use it as my username on Youtube ;) ttfn ;) Ps, Mum enjoyed Seeing Saphire n Damon n Yourself on the Ice on Facebook, Mum's here with me at the moment. cheerz again from Us ;)
Interesting song n vid there bro ;) I like the footage, was it taken from a movie??? cheerz for now & Happy New Year to All of You's Up there from All of Us Down Here ;)
I would like to say thanks for taking the time to show us an easier way to play this beautiful song. One quesion. what are the chords for the ( a very merry Christmas and a happy new year part ) Thanks
To compare both yourself and Paul (loopyone73) to Bowie is inevitable but sadly unimaginative. You are both highly original and creative vocalists/writers in your own right. respect where It's due :)
Utterly brilliant mate! With this kind of quality you deserve to go all the way and I hope your CD does really well. 5*****, Faved & Subbed. Blown away!
Oh, just heavenly! Your voice is amazing...thank you! I agree with marycigarettes' comment...a touch of David Bowie...just beautiful! Put this in my Best Singers playlist :)
Thanks for your kind comment on my version of "I Never Will Marry." I really do appreciate it. Your "Stay the Night" is a lovely song. I like the gentle acoustic feel and the sparse instrumentation. It lends itself well to the haunting tone. The "cobbling" together of the various video vignettes is also very interesting. Nicely done!
There is nothing I can say here that can top what Tim has said here...except to say that your voice is awesome...and yes, the tone of this song is haunting, and I really like everything about it. Well done!
Firstly, thanks for you kind comments on my track Steve. to be honest, I don't really use Youtube, so not been monitoring it at all.
As for this track - excellent stuff. Lovely Bowie-esque quality to your voice, and a nice lilting arrangment. Also love the fact that you don't resolve at the end. Nice trick. Looking forward to hearing more mate!
Thanks Chris, unresolved you know I never realised and maybe because most of the things in our lives are left unresolved and we just walk away whistling, cheers
there's a pleasing 70's quality to your style of singing.. i can hear hints of david bowie during the glam era..and the 12 string is very hunky dory...i think the 60's and 70's were the best eras for pop record production and singers, even if there are some great things going on today...even those strings and hand claps you're using are very ziggy stardust to me....and i love that
Yep I must agree a lot of great stuff from that era, I wasnt aware there were hand claps in Ziggy though I would think there on Hunky Dory cause its all really acoustic, Cello sax acoustic bass and guitar are all fav's of mine though I do like a bit of bass station, cheers
So deep and full of feeling!! Loved it!! my viewpoint: no matter if any other would work on it and make it better. It came from YOUR heart!! This is very touching!! I think it can't be any better!!
Always loved this tune m8 thought i would come and revisit not been on myself for a while. Excellent song glad i came back for a listen

I'm so glad someone sent me this (Tim)...this is a first class bit of work...An amazing voice, and I agree, with a smacking of Bowie in parts.
I love the subtle key change at 1.15 and 2.33..A lovely song accompanied by a sweet sounding 12 string.
Full marks 5*****
