I actually remember having this now. Yeah, I got rid of this maybe when I was 12 or something. I didn't even remember it until I saw this video, and I was like, OMG, I remember being a child now! This is freaking awesome, this thing was pretty cool, like a magic 8 ball but in a genie lamp.

a toy i had that i remember fondly was a thomss the tank engine train set. it came with three trains. thomas, percy and toby. each had two train cars. thomas had his to passager cars. percy had to coal cars. and toby had his caboose shaped passanger car and a coal car. the set came in a carrying case that i think was shaped like thomas was. i also had to plastic track sets that i think were from the same line since they could connect together. i wish id never given them away. i miss then fondly

It is really awesome to be able to go back and get new things from childhood, but it's never quite the same thing as having your old toy. The lamp is such a neat, iconic little item.

Thats cool man. I just recently got back my favorite toy from 2nd grade. It was an old Toybiz X-Men Sabretooth that I played with everyday until it finally broke. Cool story sir.
