Keep your ass down and shoulders back, tire flippin is a hoot and with correct form a great workout!
You forgot to tell everyone to warm up first. I'm sure someone will jump straight into the exercise and likely strain a muscle. I think you should also mention why you couldn't keep your back straight (muscular imbalance or inflexibility of the hamstrings) and recommend that people shouldn't do this if they can't do it with good form. I ve been doing this workout for two years, and it does work!! at my high schoool we had 4 tires, 150 250 400 500 lb's. Flip each one ten times with the jump in and out. then you have to stack them on top of each other. that's fun
you really shouldnt sumo lift a tire. you need to get your chest down on the tire with your arms ropped around the sides and drive threw the tire and it will pop up. you can do it with that tire because its little but if you tried it with a proper powerlifting tire, that stile of flipping will get you injured for sure.

hey pete, do below parallel squats ruin your knees, because ive always gone below parallel but today a physio told me above parallel or my knees will get trashed, so im pretty confused
@BigAlGi Nope. Below parallel is best. Just be sure to push off your heels which will make you use your leg/ass muscles to come up with the squat instead of using purely your knee.
When i flip, i like to use my legs to press the tire up at first and using my arms only as hooks. When i then have straight legs, i simply turn my arms into press-angle and take a step forward. I've learned that if you do not stiff your arms up, and try using them to lift the tire. You are more than certain going to get a both painful and awful bicep-tear...

Sand bags are a good workout tool as well.You can carry them around in your back yard.Do squats with them or most any kind of lift.
