i saw her in SF in february. sadly, she didn't wow me as i'd hoped. but she has a great voice, very clear.

now that i think about it, she was pretty good. i just found out that she's been having throat problems. so i imagine that is why she didn't wow me. but i would pay money to go see her again and re-evaluate. i hope i get to. :)

the only actress so far who has been completely inconsistent (and therefore great for youtube) was ms. eden espinosa - that's not a diss, i'm actually a fan! but most other elphabas remain rather consistent.

in this case, teal is consistently amazing.

there is nothing wrong with a consistent great performance..most people don't look these performers up on youtube to see how they are singing it differently each night..shoshana bean made this role all about riffs...that's not what it's about..yes it's fun to hear different riffs on this ending but there isn't anything wrong with sticking to what works for her...

yeah Teal does an amazing job and I totally love her for it. I am so happy that she got the role and it makes me want to see this even more

yeah, theres nothing wrong wiuth keeping the same riffs, and there nothing wrong with switching things up and re-inventing yourself either. Shoshana was one of the best, so she can do what ever she wants. and your saying that because you like Dee who never changed once in like 18 months. . . i personally think theres a limmit. . .
