ive had that problem. The cases are fucking cheap now. The first thing I do when i get a game, besides playing it, is transfering the disk and cover art to blockbuster DVD cases. IMO, they are the best DVD/game cases out there. Just go to a blockbuster and ask for cases they might give you a bunch for free or a small price. I have 100 of them when my local blockbuster went out of bussines.
its not your system creating those center cracks its the game cases when you remove the game from the case you put stress on the center, with the new "eco friendly" cases it is the worst, do your self a favor and invest in a dvd case or something..its not the xbox stop blaming everything on the damn console, just take care of your shit and it wont happen look how he handled the mw2 disc at 2:27 THAT is what causes the cracks
I have advice to all gamers. 1.try not to bump into your xbox if possible.2. try to put all games in probably a nice foldable case to insure yourself to no possible crackings on the inner rings of the discs. message if you need any other tips.
@KraZyKingZ72 You should not have to do any maintanence in the first place, and that disc should not crack nor break nor scratch even if you moved the system.
At least on the PS3, this doesn't happen, even though this think breaks alot, which I still find it unacceptable.
Microsoft really needs to do something about these faulty disks, because they should not be cracking. I got some music CDS from 12 years ago and have never seen ONE crack like this. Same goes with the many PSX, PS2, and DVDS I own. GET IT DONE MICROSOFT.
XBox disks are terribly made. Ive owned a PSX and a Playstation 2 before I had bought my XBox 360 slim and have not once ever seen a Playstation disk crack. My NBA 2K11, MW2, both have cracks near the center. I have seen many friends that also have this problem. Aint a particular game, it happens to ALL. We pay loads of cash on these games, the least they can do is manufacture durable disks. I take good care of my disks, but it seems to be inevitable.
Black ops cracked today......thought "oh its ok, ill play mw2". I played mw2 for about 1 hour then my xbox pops up and says DISC UNREADABLE while in mid-game. I take it out and then.....ITS FUCKING CRACKED. FUCK XBOX!!! Thats the third time mw2 has cracked for me!!!
happend to me to with Mw2 there is know why to fix it at home but there is a store called disc replay and they took my game to the back and they came back 5 minutes later and it works again woot!
