I use glass, ceramic, cast iron and stainless steel for cookware and wood and stainless for cooking utensals. The big rule of thumb is; NEVER PUT ANYTHING HOT THAT YOU PLAN ON CONSUMING IN PLASTIC OR VISE VERSA! Even high heat plastic.
