Oh wow. I have her "English Mad Songs and Ayres" CD, and I love it - I hadn't heard her sing this before, but it doesn't surprise me that she did it! The words she uses in the B section sound a bit different than the version I'm used to, but it's still gorgeous -- and wow, how she holds out those eternal runs! Love it love it love it!!! :)

Clear and accurate singing. If you don't like the tempo, don't blame the singer. We know she can move her voice much more quickly than this.

I have heard this piece way too frantic. This is a nice change. Now, something in the middle.

Vielleicht ist etwas zu langsam, aber sie singen ist groß und passt voll und ganz im barocken Stil
