These guys were by far and away the smartest and with the least macho bullshit. They made almost no mistakes and didn't waste time and energy with stupid tricks. They stayed off the trail as much as possible, made no noise and were by far the most careful about where they put their feet. You could tell they'd done some homework.
If they'd left the town at the crack of dawn they could have strolled to their objective.
