@weazz I'm debating on wether I should go to school for it aswell but I've heard they really don't teach you anything you can't learn yourself but, what's your take on it?
@HDibbles I personally think it's all worth it. Not only the new skills and techniques you learn, but the connections you make. Plus if you want to make a career of it, they teach you all sorts of industry standards (my school anyways). Also by teaching yourself you don't have instructors to help you if your volumes are off, or if you don't quite understand the material. The 1 to 1 alone is worth it as my school treats it like a trade. Only people who are working in industry teach.
@weazz Thank you, I was thinking about enrolling at The New England Art Institute but I have to be ABSOLUTELY sure I can get a job or else I'll be paying close to 200,000 dollars back in student loans
@HDibbles I'm in the vancouver film school. The key of schooling is go to school where you could possibly work. I paid 23,000 for a single year, but it's a 2 year program crammed into a single year. My instructors have all worked in teh vancouver industry which is like the hollywood of the north.

@HDibbles As an animation student, the knowledge is invaluable, but i've yet to find an instructor that doesn't put you to sleep >.<
