  • a cumfae and live in edinburgh , good job wae the video. anticapitalist your a liar and a bam along wae the rest o the haters on here, getiupyaes .

  • It's really sad that this dimwitted political schmuck Salmand wants to build a stupid career out of separating Scotland from England.

  • Excellent video ! it is really nice. I always wanted to see what it was like there but because I have never been there or there is no one else to go with I couldnt go in case of getting lost of something, LOL

Thank you for the video, it has been a pleasure watching it.

  • People really need to shut the fuck up sometimes... Scotland is a country like every other ones. If you don't like it then don't come here, there you go. Way better than making abusive comments that make YOU look like the douchebag. Not all people are bad here, there are some assholes but you learn to ignore them. Every country in this world has assholes living in it. So there is really no point in making a huge fuss on a VIDEO. Btw thank you to the one who made this video, I thought it was goo

  • Amazing vid! Beautiful architecture. Thanks for sharing it.

  • europe looks older and older every day...compare to us and asian countries

  • reminds me of the good times in Edinburgh everytime i hear the sound of the bagpipe...

  • Good video, interesting to see it from a bus :)

  • Oh look no tram works

  • 900videos... amazing.

  • Hi there. I work as a guide on Edinburgh's tour buses. Loved your video and it pleases me that you enjoyed our open-top bus tours so much. Haste ye back. :)

  • Next year me and my girlfriend are going to Scotland and England and I cannot wait!

  • sickk

  • It was Awsome dude

  • Going ther next month can't wait

  • @yomammaslayer Hey, it's next month! How was it?

  • AH YES !....Beautiful, Bonnie Scotland - spent 2 years there...Beautiful country, beautiful people. Love love to vist again.

  • @MrBanterMan - Agree! York with the Minister and the Shambles. And Bath... not at all unlike Edinburgh the the architectural sense, as some of the people responsible for designing that city were also involved with designing Edinburgh's New Town. That said, with its warm-coloured sandstone, Bath has a glow compared to Edinburgh's stern darkness. Both are wonderful cities... though Edinburgh has my heart.

  • Edinburgh is a sensational place, though you're only seeing a bit of the Old Town here... and on a rather grey day. There is so much more to the city, like the New Town (started 250 yrs. ago) with it's Georgian architecture and beautiful gardens... so much more. Trust me - go there and you'll never want to leave.

  • lol danny boy

  • Thanks for the very interesting tour of Edinburgh. Is it always windy and somewhat cloudy there?

    King - New York

  • @kingusmcgee

Yep it is. Its probably because its Scotland. Its like asking residents of Mexico city..........."is it always hot and dry here"?

  • most of my family are scotish and live in scotland

  • are there any chicks in scotland?? (prospective student)

  • @greecerules94 - Absolutely! Everything from the ruff 'n' ready to the cerebral and serene. Try Cafe Nero in Blackwell's bookstore if you're after the latter. For the others, there are loads of pubs and clubs where getting acquainted is quite easy, as Scots tend to be very social. Good luck!

  • @greecerules94 What a silly quenstion. You'd better keep your mouth shut, young man.

  • Was that Edmondstones close, to the right? Right in the beginning of the tour...?

  • @randomSAMsushiify - after the train journey it jumps right into the Grassmarket looking up Victoria Street. This is a bit of a surprise, as I was anticipating the arrival at Waverley Station... but it goes right to the tour bus. Victoria Street winds up to the High Street (or Royal Mile), at the top of which is the castle, and at the bottom of which is the Palace of Holyrood House, the home of Mary Queen of Scots all those years ago and the Royal Residence of Queen Elizabeth when she's in town.

  • Awesome footage! Thank You!

  • Scotland and London are both incredible places to be , I went this summer for the Fringe Festival and performed in the Highschool Theatre Fest. i'll never forget it, it was amazing.

  • Do Scots keep their national identity nowadays or have they got intermingled with the English ?

  • AWESOME VIDEO I LIKE IT VERY MUCH!!!. FOR ME...EDINBURGH,.THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY IN THE WORD !!! LOVE TO BE THERE !!!! :)

  • It's my entire wish to visit once in a lifetime Scotland and of course Edinburgh.

    Greetings from Germany ;D

  • europe's second most beautiful city after prague

  • Gosh, Edinburgh is much magnificent than I could imagine.

  • home sweet sweet home!!!

  • I love This city and I'll come back to it

  • How lucky you are to have visited Edinburgh before the introduction of the tram fiasco. Hihi. Not so nice now I'm afraid. We used to have trees running down the middle of leith walk... Now we have a hideous concrete strip and the locals keeps tripping over it after a night out on the town. Thanks Edinburgh council.

  • Great video, visited the city loved it and the video shows many of the places i went to when i was there!

Thanks for bringing back some good memories!!!

  • Thanks for this video, I went to Edinburgh in Feb. 2010, and I felt like I was right there again watching this...

  • I'm going there in the fall!

  • how's living there compared to just visiting?

  • @HandPeopleHandPeople

Good, it's a fairly safe city and a good city in which to be poor. You only pay £500\month rent for a flat next door to a castle. In fact much of what you see in the video is social housing.

  • @HandPeopleHandPeople - Living is great! It's like a big town... you can walk everywhere in the centre are (Old Town and New Town) and a lot of the residential areas are also within walking distance. Plus there are buses. I lived there and left to return to Canada. I've returned almost every year for holidays and long for the day when I can move back. I've been to other great places, but Edinburgh - even if the weather isn't always the best - is the most sensational place I've ever been.

  • @MrCherryJuice Awesome, thanks!

  • i live in edinburgh

    and i luv the city

  • i was there in 2005 , i love the city . xx

  • Edinburgh is the best capital city of the best country in the world! Scotland forever!

  • thats good of you to say that about edinburgh, scotland

    because im from scotland edinburgh

  • @euan14 edinburgh is the only capital city of scotland!? haha

  • @euan14

I am an American, and I got married in Edinburgh England.

I liked the Edinburgh vaults the best.

You British Scots are the best.

Drop me a line sometime, and we'll share adventures.

    All the best.

  • @pluto4847 Edinburgh ENGLAND????? You may well have got married in Edinburgh and if you did you most certainly did not get married in England. That's like me saying I visited New York, Canada. If I may take this opportunity to give you a geography lesson. Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland which is an entirely different country to England. Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland make up the United kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. They are 4 uniquely individual countries.

  • @pluto4847 I've never seen so much fail in one comment before. You certainly are American.

  • @pluto4847 What do you mean by "Edinburgh, England"? Grap a map asap, dear!

  • @Eva0321

I did that on purpose because you Scots as far as I am concerned do not deserve your own country! Maybe if the Scots got that big ugly chip off their shoulder, I would think differently.

And yeah, I might sound English but yes I'm an American and damn proud of it. THat's payback for all the ugliness your fellow SCots gave to me when I viosited Scotland. Next time, if they don't want to be insulted maybe the Scots should be friendlier to Americans.

  • @pluto4847

That's right. I'm not a big fan of the jocks. I used to like them until they played mind games with me, and kicked the shit out of me. And no, I didn't think I deserved it at all. Never once did I insult the Scots in your country, but they felt it was perfectly fine to make fun of Americans.
